Appearing out of thin air, Bai Zhen - the Fourth Prince of the former Fox King and Queen, walked up to Dijun and eyed the fox whom he knew as Feng Jiu in his lap getting head pats as she slept.

"Welcome to Qing Qiu, Lord Dijun" Bai Zhen said as he sat opposite of Dijun, saying the words loud enough for Feng Jiu to hear.

Feng Jiu's snout appeared above the edge of the table, looking at her uncle, her eyes went wide as she slipped out of Dijun's arms and raced off into the forest.

Dijun nodded to Bai Zhen to acknowledge his presence before Feng Jiu raced off as he stared after her before turning his attention to Bai Zhen.

Entering the peach forest where her aunt loved to play before, during and after her mortal trial to ascend to High Goddess.

Feng Jiu appeared in her human form, falling to her knees on the ground, hand to heart, feeling it thump loudly in her chest.

'That was close, will Uncle tell Lord Dijun that I am the fox he was holding?' Feng Jiu asked herself in her mind as she wiped her forehead and closed her eyes.

As Feng Jiu used her magic to appear in her fox den, she changed her clothes to a simple pink colour, as she took the tray holding the peach wine and two empty cups outside to where Dijun and Bai Zhen sat.

As Feng Jiu stood there beside the table, she bowed slightly and then went to her knees and served them the wine.

"Greetings Lord Dijun, greetings Uncle" she said as she slightly blushed.

"Ah, so you finally show yourself? I have been looking for you" Lord Dijun said as Feng Jiu looked to him.

"I apologise" Feng Jiu said handing him the cup before turning her Uncle who smiled at her and then turned her into a fox.

Feng Jiu howled angrily at her Uncle before Dijun picked her up and held her.

"Be good" Dijun said to her and rubbed her nose in which she closed her eyes and sighed happily.

"You do know that the fox you were holding before was Queen Feng Jiu" Bai Zhen said and Dijun looked at the fox in his arms, not fazed by the news he heard.

But as Feng Jiu heard what her Uncle had just said, she pounced onto the table, knocking over the slightly hot peach wine which spilt onto her paws.

Howling in pain, Feng Jiu limped to the end of the table, not realising as she fell off the table and was caught by Dijun himself.

"I will take her back, please make sure to do what Feng Jiu had to do here" Dijun said and vanished, taking the fox with him. He appeared in his room in Taichen Palace, he laid her on his bed, while asking the maids to fetch some stuff.

After cleaning her paw, he wrapped her fox leg up, before covering her with a blanket as he told her to rest and heal as she nodded her head.

As he left, Feng Jiu fell asleep, dreaming of how Dijun saved her many times, of how she knew she still had to ask him about his fate for his love life.

As Dijun left to let her rest and heal, he walked to the Throne room to converse with the other gods among Empress Bai Qian and Emperor Ye Hua about the rumours of the Demon Clan wanting to build a rebellion to get back at the Heavenly Realm.

But as they conversed, Dijun wasn't paying attention to them, all he could think about was the fox Queen lying in his bed, healing from her injury.

After their conversation and their plans to make the Demon Realm obey, Dijun went back to his Taichen Palace, which he would normally do. He saw that Feng Jiu was sleeping in her human form.

Arms thrown wildly on the bed, her legs tangled in his blanket, her head resting on his pillow as she slept.

Dijun saw her wrapped ankle before moving the blanket properly on her, keeping her ankle out of the blanket, he laid his hand gently on her ankle and used his magic to help the healing.

He then left her to sleep as Si Ming came to visit again, this time he was with the Emperor and Empress. When Bai Qian saw her niece sleeping in his bed, she looked at Dijun.

"May I speak to you in private?" Bai Qian asked him and they both walked outside to chat.

"What exactly are you doing with my niece?" Bai Qian asked him, glancing Feng Jiu's way.

"She injured herself, so I am taking care of her" Dijun said. Bai Qian told him that Feng Jiu told her that she was in love with him, but she didn't want to in case he didn't feel the same way about her.

"I told her about your fate, that you ruined it so you could be alone" Bai Qian said to him and he looked at her before walking away.

As they left, Dijun went to his bed and sat beside Feng Jiu, who turned in her sleep and wrapped her arm around his waist.

When Feng Jiu woke from her tireless sleep, she found herself lying beside Dijun, her arm around his waist and her head on his chest.

Blushing blood red, she moved away but Dijun stopped her and kept her by his side with a smile.

"Lord Dijun" Feng Jiu said before he shushed her.

"My Lord" Feng Jiu said before Dijun shushed her.

"Stay like this" Dijun said and Feng Jiu did, before happily moving her arm back around his waist.

Before long, Feng Jiu left Taichen Palace to return to her own after spending the day watching Dijun read his book. Never in her life has she felt so comfortable being around him, but she was getting way over herself for falling in love with him.

Cheng Yu then appeared behind her and tapped her friend's shoulder. Feng Jiu yelled startled and turned around before interlocking her arm with hers.

"Cheng Yu" Feng Jiu whined and they walked to the lotus pond.

"What's wrong Feng Jiu?" Cheng Yu asked her friend, in which Feng Jiu told her the long story about her and Lord Dijun and what she has been doing in his Palace.

"You've been in his Palace this whole time? No wonder I couldn't find you" Cheng Yu said and patted her friends hand.

"I just feel like something isn't right, my aunt told me about what Dijun did many years ago, where he erased his name so he could no longer have a romance fate" Feng Jiu said.

"I also feel like I have fallen in love with him" Feng Jiu added as Cheng Yu sighed.

"Feng Jiu, life is hard for all of us, falling in love is a part of nature, but so is heart break. Most people aren't meant to be together, just like you and Lord Dijun" Cheng Yu said.

"I was thinking about trying to get his name back on there, but I need to find out how" Feng Jiu said.
