Episode 6

In the mortal realm, a baby girl was born into the Imperial Palace, the daughter of the Queen. The Queen lost her husband after she found she was pregnant with the child to the Kingdom of Wei.

As the baby grew into a young child, she was a playful young spirited girl and she bored the rules to her will. Her name was Princess Xiaobai, the only daughter to the Queen and deceased King.

Years later and Xiaobai grew into a fine young woman. She was still her free spirited self, doing as her mother tells her as well as doing things her own way.

She never agrees to marriage, saying she wanted to live her life before she thought about settling down. After her sacrifice at the rock of Three Incarnations, she lost her memory and her birth mark, starting her love hardship trial.

Waking up one morning, Xiaobai's maid helped her into her dress, sitting her by her vanity table, the cracked mirror staring back at her.

"Cha Cha, can you ask the Imperial House to get me a new mirror?" Xiaobai asked as her maid whom named Cha Cha bows her head while she worked on Xiaobai's hair.

After Xiaobai was dressed and ready, she worked her way from her Palace to her mothers Palace. Her maid Cha Cha announced her arrival and her mothers voice telling her to allow her in as Xiaobai walked through the doors and to her mothers seat.

Standing in front of her mother, she got to her knees and bowed low, arms on the floor and her forehead resting on her arms.

"Greetings mother" Xiaobai said and her mother told her to rise as she straightened up before Cha Cha helped her off the floor.

"Come her my Xiaobai" her mother said and Xiaobai walked to her mother before sitting beside her as  her mother smiles to her and smooths her hair.

"You are the most beautiful daughter I have ever had, I am so glad to have you in my life, but I must think of your future, I will become Empress Dowager soon, you will become Empress, but with a husband to rule beside you" her mother said.

"You know what I think of marriage mother, I want to see the world before I think of my future" Xiaobai said as her mother nods.

Back in Taichen Palace in the Heavenly Realm, everyone had been looking for Feng Jiu. Dong Hua Dijun, who was sitting in his chair looking at the magical object Feng Jiu had created to use on the rock.

He then looked up before getting up himself and vanished, appearing in the mortal realm. He had a feeling something was happening there, maybe it was the demon realm, maybe it was someone calling him.

As he walked, he came across a girl, her hair done up and wearing a pink hanfu dress, a long strand of silk handing from her arms and was low at the back of her dress. Her smile he knew from somewhere, from a girl he knew named Bai Feng Jiu.

He turned his head to see her properly and her name escaped his lips as she was smiling and talking to a girl in maid clothes.

The girl was the woman he started to fall for - Bai Feng Jiu. But what was she doing here in the mortal realm. He walked up to the woman and she looked up at him, to his dismay with no recognition of him.

"Who are you?" the girl asked as the maid beside her kept close in case she thought of danger to her Highness.

"I am Dong Hua Dijun, Feng Jiu" he said holding his arms out to her and she moved away.

"I don't think I have met you anywhere" the girl said as her maid moved in front of her.

"Please don't touch her Highness Xiaobai" the maid said as Xiaobai looked at him, she looked frightened as he nods before moving away.

'She doesn't recognise me' Dijun thought to himself 'what did she do to become a mortal?' he again thought to himself as he decided to go visit Si Ming.

Back in the Heavenly Realm, Dijun went to Si Ming's Palace, finding him reading over a book, a frown on his face. When he looked up, he saw Dijun, he moved his hands together and bowed to Dijun.

"My Lord" he said as Dijun went to sit in a chair, he brought out the magical object and showed it to Si Ming.

"Would you be able to see why Feng Jiu is in the mortal realm with no recognition of me?" Dijun asked.

"I will go and see my Lord" Si Ming said as he walked to the books and went through each one before he found the book on Feng Jiu's fate in the mortal realm.

"She is enduring her Love Hardship Trial in the mortal realm, she sacrificed something to the Lord who lives within the rock of Three Incarnations and that's how she is in the mortal realm, she is to endure love, betrayal and friendship" Si Ming said.

"She did it so I could have my name back on the rock, to give me what she wanted to give me all this time, but the name of my soul partner is Ji Heng" Dijun said.

"Princess of the Demon tribe, Feng Jiu must have loved you enough to sacrifice her place beside you to give you a future" Si Ming said as Dijun sighs.

"I will be absent for a while, I will be going away for a while, to seclusion for a few years" Dijun said and Si Ming nods as Dijun leaves.

Returning to his Palace, he placed an impenetrable barrier around his Palace, making sure his maid knew that no one was to visit until he came out of seclusion.

 But he had no intention to go into seclusion, he had intended to go to the mortal realm to give Feng Jiu what she wanted from him. Hoping it wasn't to late, he became the son of the Wei Kingdom, coming to the Tang Dynasty to propose marriage and an alliance to Princess Xiaobai.
