When the morning sun hit through the windows, Xiaobai opened her eyes softly and found Prince Shen Ye sleeping beside her. Her blanket was wrapped around them both when she realised that they had slept together last night.

Getting out of bed and getting dressed, she dismissed Cha Cha when she came to her Palace and went to cook some food.

After making some food, she returned from the royal kitchen to find Shen Ye walking from her bed to the table having just woken up. When he saw her, he smiled and told her he had to pack to go home.

"You don't want some food?" Xiaobai asked as she set the tray on the table. Dijun then grabbed her by the waist and held her in his arms. Looking up at him, she then huffed at him before trying to get out of his arms.

He held her tightly but gently and kissed her lovingly.

"I would love to eat food made by you" he said and she blushed slightly before moving from his arms and he sat at the table to eat the food she made.

She began packing her stuff as he ate, when he finished, he helped her finish before going to pack his own stuff.

While he was gone, she thought about what she had done last night and went red with embarrassment. Never had she ever done that before, but she felt more in love with him then she ever had when she met him for the first time.

After they loaded their belongings on the carriage, they sat inside the carriage with Cha Cha sitting on the back dangling her legs and Qingti riding behind on a horse.

Xiaobai and Dijun chatted along the way, Xiaobai's laugh rang out from the carriage and Cha Cha smiled to herself, glad that her mistress was having fun.

They stopped occasionally for Xiaobai to stretch her legs, she was used to travelling but she hated having sore legs when she arrived at her destinations.

As they entered the borders of Tang Kingdom, they were greeted by the Imperial Empress on her horse in her official robes. As they stopped and Xiaobai got out, she ran to her mother and hugged her affectionately.

"Welcome back my dear Xiaobai" the Empress said and kissed her daughters head.

"I am finally home mother" Xiaobai said and Dijun appeared by their sides and greeted the Empress.

"Welcome back" the Empress said and Dijun bowed to her and told her it was a pleasure to come back.

As they were escorted to the Imperial Palace, the Empress walked with them into the throne room to talk about the letter her daughter sent.

"I read your letter, I am glad that you have agreed to now settle down, I hope the travel was kind to you both" the Empress said.

"It was amazing, we missed on the last few nights of the festival, but I had already seen it all throughout the first night" Xiaobai said with a smile.

As they settled in their Palace together since they had decided to marry, Xiaobai sat at the window as Cha Cha unloaded her cases of things back to where they belonged. Dijun sat beside her and took her hand in his and she smiled at him.

Once Cha Cha was finished, Xiaobai gave her the present she bought for her mother and asked her to deliver it for her before they spent time alone since the that night they slept together.

Xiaobai sat by her window with Dijun sitting at the table with her, she had her knees to her chest and her chin resting on her knees. She kept thinking about that night, it was making her feel like she was crazy.

Turning in her seat, she looked at Dijun who looked back at her and she tilted her head.

"I feel like I know you from somewhere" Xiaobai said and he shook his head.

"We used to be childhood friends?" he asked and she she shook her head.

"Never mind, my head hurts a little thinking about it" she said and got up, walking to her bed before she collapsed to the ground.

Dijun hurried from his seat when he saw her stumble and he called for Cha Cha who rushed in and shocked as she was, she covered her mouth.

"Go get a physician" he said to her and she rushed from the room, running to the main Palace where the Empress sat.

After Xiaobai was put to bed and checked out, he gave them the answer, that she was a little stressed out and that it was putting a strain on her.

Dijun stayed alone with her to keep her company and be there if she needed him. When she finally awoke, Dijun sat beside her with prescribed medicine for her to take.

Sitting up against him with his arm around her, he held the bowl to her mouth and she drank the bitter medicine, coughing and wiping her mouth.

"That's disgusting" Xiaobai said and Dijun smiled a little as they sat there for a while. When Xiaobai got out of bed, he walked with her along the courtyard of her Palace. Ending up where the pavilion sat in her backyard, Dijun asked Cha Cha for some sweets and watched her walk off to get them.

Noticing him staring after Cha Cha, she started to feel a little worried but shook it off as they began talking about the wedding. The Empress came to visit as Cha Cha set down the plates of sweets and the jug of tea.

"Your awake" the Empress said sitting beside her daughter and she smiled at her.

"I am fine now, good as new" Xiaobai said and hugged her mother, grateful she had someone who loved her.

After they conversed, the Empress left her Palace to return to hers and Xiaobai ended up in her bed, taking a nap after excusing herself from the table.

Tossing and turning in her bed, she dreamed of a world with him, where they would be together forever and for all eternity.
