"I'll keep them company until you are ready" Dijun told her and she nods as he walked to the doors to let them in as Cha Cha led Xiaobai deeper into her room to get her dressed.
Once dressed and both her make up and hair was done, Xiaobai walked to the front of her Palace and met up with the King and Queen and Prince Shen Ye.
"Your Highness" The Queen said and Xiaobai bowed to her in greeting, Cha Cha followed suit.
"Your Majesties, thank you for coming all this way to meet me, but if you wanted my presence, I do not mind meeting you in the throne room" Xiaobai said in a polite tone.
"It's fine, we heard about your adventure in the village for the festival last night, we wanted to make sure you had the best time" The King said and Xiaobai nods.
"It was a dream to see one of the Wei's lovely Festivals, but as I had a fun night, I fell asleep along the way home and I troubled his Highness to take me home" Xiaobai said and the Queen smiled.
"It makes me happy to see you two bonding, I heard that your Highness loved adventure and that you loved festivals, we were hoping we could some see some of Tang Kingdoms Festivals" the Queen said.
"Of course, when you come to attend our wedding in the future, I am sure to give you the tour around the village, I had heard we have a festival coming up in a few weeks, I think we can schedule our wedding along those weeks" Xiaobai said.
"You have finally decided to settle down?" the King asked.
"I have had the best travel, coming here to the Wei Kingdom, I have seen all the beautiful things, I have decided I will settle down and marry the Prince" Xiaobai said.
'Si Ming give me a sign on how and why I have to betray her' Dijun thought to himself as he walked to stand beside Xiaobai.
"I think the feast tonight will be our last night here before I return the Imperial Princess back home" Dijun said and the Queen took her hand.
"I am so proud of you my son, thank you for taking my son into your life and your Kingdom" the Queen said and Xiaobai nods with a smile.
"Spending so much time together, we have so much affection for each other" Xiaobai said and linked her arm with his.
After the King and Queen's visit, Xiaobai leaned her chin against his arm.
"What should we do today?" Xiaobai asked as he moved his arms around her waist and she froze, blushing slightly.
"We can sit under the pavilion and eat some cakes and make some paintings?" he asked and she looked up at him after looking around to see if anyone was near. She leaned up on her toes and pecked him lightly on the lips before moving from his arms.
"Let's go to the pavilion" she said before leaving her Palace and walking towards the pavilion surrounded with a lotus pond.
Sitting on the cushion, she watched as Dijun and Cha Cha brought trays of food and jugs of peach wine to the table and she poured two cups of wine and waited for him to sit.
"You may return back to Xiaobai's room, I will get Qingti to come fetch you if needed" Dijun said and Cha Cha bowed before walking off.
Xiaobai handed him his cup when he sat down and he took it and started to sip it. Xiaobai looked around at the scenery around them, taking in the beauty of it as she ate some cakes and sipped her wine.
"I have sent a letter home of our return tomorrow, as well as our plans to marry in a few weeks time to line up with the festival" Xiaobai said and Dijun nods.
"Of course, my parents will come visit and they cannot wait to come see the festival of Tang Kingdom" Dijun said and Xiaobai smiled.
As the day wore on, and they returned back to Xiaobai's Palace, they sat at the table and chatted. Cha Cha was told to retire in her room for the night and they drank tea well into the afternoon.
When it was time for the feast, Xiaobai dressed in a white hanfu dress and a pale blue silk hanging from her arms. Her hair was done up and Dijun gently put new hair pins into her hair. They were different pins from her own and she smiled.
They walked to the main Palace, her arm in his as they entered the throne room and the King and Queen greeted them. They sat to one side of the King and Queen and when the hall was finished the King stood up.
"Tonight we celebrate the marriage between the Imperial family of the Tang Kingdom and our son Prince Shen Ye" the King said and the Queen stood up beside him.
"I thank the beautiful Imperial Princess for coming to visit us ahead of her wedding to our son, we hope they live a long life as Empress and Emperor of the Tang Dynasty, I hope our alliance will be kept as long as our relationship stands" the Queen said.
"I agree, I hope our alliance keeps the peace between two countries, I as well as his Highness is excited for the next few weeks preparing for our marriage as a way of uniting us" Xiaobai said after she stood up.
Bowing to the King and Queen, Xiaobai sat down and the festivities went well into the night. Dijun who had drank more then Xiaobai, walked with her back to her Palace after the feast ended and as they got in, Dijun held her close to him, arms around her waist.
Leaning against the wall, Xiaobai looked up at him, holding her hand to his forehead looking worriedly at him.
"Do you feel okay?" she asked and he nods, leaning his face close to hers.
"I love you Xiaobai" he said and moved her to her bed, laying her down as he laid beside her, keeping his forehead against hers.
Looking up at him, Xiaobai then closed her eyes and let him kiss her.
