Waking up in the morning, Dijun had seen that Feng Jiu was gone. He figured she probably went back to her Palace so people wouldn't misunderstand them.

'She seemed more eager to be around me' Dijun thought as he sat at his table, his only maid pouring him a cup of tea, bowed before walking out of his Palace.

Since the day she came into his Palace, she did everything she could to worm her way into his life, arguing with him and laughing when he failed to realise something.

But as days wore on, he grew fond of her, inch by inch everyday, it would seem impossible for him to deny it anytime soon.

As Feng Jiu woke up the next morning, she ached from her shoulder down to her chest as her maids gently helped her into a new dress.

'He looked really handsome when he sleeps' Feng Jiu thought, tilting her head to the side before one of her maids straightened her head so they could brush her long soft black hair.

Looking at herself in the mirror, Feng Jiu watched as the maids adorned her hair with hair pins and hair pieces to make her more lively.

'Ah! I have to go see Gugu,' Feng Jiu thought all of a sudden as she stood up and walked out of her Palace towards her aunt's.

As she reached outside her Palace, she transformed into her fox form and ran off towards her aunt's Palace.

Back in Taichen Palace, Dijun sat opposite Si Ming at the table after he came in to converse with the former Emperor.

"What bring you here?" Dijun asked as he went to sit at the table as a maid poured them both a cup of tea each as Si Ming sat down and nodded to the girl.

"How did your business go?" Si Ming asked as Dijun then told him of what happened.

"She found me in the Mortal Realm, in the forest outside the village, she proceeded to argue with me about her needing protection but the Queen decided she wanted to kill us so she went in front of me and took the hit" Dijun said.

"She got injured?" Si Ming asked as Dijun nodded his head.

"It looks like someone might have a thing for the Little Princess" Si Ming said before Dijun gave him the death stare.

As Feng Jiu entered her aunt's Palace, she walked through the door to see her aunt sipping peach tea.

"Gugu!" Feng Jiu whined and walked fast to her aunt's side after transforming back into her human self. She kneeled beside her aunt as she poured her niece a cup of peach tea and held it out to her, in which Feng Jiu accepted gracefully.

"Tell me what is the matter, my dear niece" Bai Qian asked as Feng Jiu launched into her story, where she followed Dijun to the Mortal World and proceeded to protect him, in which got her injured and Dijun taking her back to his Palace.

"Do you really like him?" Bai Qian asked as Feng Jiu nods her head. She been so careful, but she yet again caused trouble to Lord Dijun again.

"I think I have fallen in love with him, I never thought for once in my life, I would be in love. I wanted to travel like you before I decide to settle down" Feng Jiu said, interlocking her fingers from the pain in her shoulder.

"I understand how you feel, I was like you to, with my shifu before he died, before I went to the Mortal Realm to begin my trial to ascend to High Goddess" Bai Qian said.

"Do you think I could do the trial to ascend to High Goddess like you?" Feng Jiu asked looking at her aunt in curiosity.

"Maybe, but it depends on your obligations" Bai Qian said patting her niece's hand. Feng Jiu felt comfort when she talked to her aunt, more happier then she had been stuck back home in Qing Qiu.

Feng Jiu knew ruling wasn't in her blood despite being born a royal, she already knew that cause she caused so much trouble in Dijun's Palace, she now wondered if she could get her aunt to apologise to him for her.

"Gugu, I need to ask you a favour" Feng Jiu said and Bai Qian looked to her niece. Ever since Feng Jiu was born, she was the most beautiful baby in the world, she was excited to help her niece find a nice husband in the future.

But now she worried that the man Feng Jiu chose to fall in love with, was none other then Lord Dijun himself.

"What is it?" Bai Qian asked and Feng Jiu readied herself to ask her.

"Could you apologise to Lord Dijun for me? For causing so much trouble in his Palace?" Feng Jiu asked her aunt.

"I think you need to do that yourself, but there is something you need to know, but this is more a warning. Many years ago, way before I and Ye Hua were born, Lord Dijun was once the Heavenly Emperor"

"He made the decision not to marry, not to have an Empress, consorts and concubines, so he erased his name from the rock of Incarnations" Bai Qian said.

Feng Jiu looked at her aunt in shock, all her efforts were in vain, but she had refused to believe a word her aunt just told her.

'Why would he do this? What if in the future he wanted to take on a bride?' Feng Jiu thought to herself as Ah Li came running into the Palace calling his mother and his cousin.

Ah Li stopped in front of them and bowed to them respectively.

"Greetings mother, greetings your Majesty" Ah Li said and then got up off the floor, running into his mothers arms.

Feng Jiu excused herself and walked out of the Palace, she then walked to the East Side Gate, going home. She would return after her errands were done and after she registered what her aunt said, she knew she would either go to Dijun and confirm it or the rock herself.

Arriving at her fox den, there stood Dijun, an arm behind his back as he walked back and forth reading a book.

To avoid chatting with him, Feng Jiu turned into her fox form and walked up to him, her nine tails showing.

Dijun looked down to see a brown nine tailed fox, sitting there and looking at him as he vanished the book and bent down to gently pick up the fox.

'He seems to gentle to ruin his romance fate' Feng Jiu thought to herself. She leaned her head against his chest as he walked to the table and sat down, holding her in his arms.

A few hours before the fox appeared in front of him, he had went to find Feng Jiu, to see if she was okay.

When he saw the fox, a smile came to his face, which was odd, since he never smiled. The only time he smiled was when something went wrong.

'She must be with her aunt' Dijun thought, holding the fox in his arms who had fallen asleep.
