Chapter 20

Betty POV

I'm at gymnastics class. I was practicing bars when a girl with red hair walks up to me.

"Hey" she says

"Hi" I smile at her putting chalk on my hands.

"So you're new here right" she says

"Yeah" I say

"I'm Cheryl Blossom" she says and sticks her hand out.

"I'm Betty Cooper and I just chalked my hands." I say

"Wait as in Charles Cooper's daughter" she says and puts her hands on her hips.

"Yeah" I question

"Oh my god that's my moms brother. We're cousins" she says

"How come I didn't know this" I smile and hug her.

"I don't know. I think my mom and your dad got in a fight or something" she says when we pull away.

"Oh so do you know he passed?" I say cause they weren't at the funeral.

"No I didn't I'm sorry for you lost" she says

"No its-"

"Hey girls stop talking and start training" coach yells.

"Okay I'll talk to you later bye." She says. I wave and she runs away. Then I go practice my routine.

The next day

I was walking with Cheryl to lunch and I see Kevin just staring at me.

"Well bye see you later Betty" she smiles and walks to her lunch table and I walk to mine.

I sit down and kiss Jughead's cheek. "Hey guys" I say

"Why were you walking with The Cheryl Blossom Aka Cheryl Bombshell" Kevin says

"She's my cousin" I say

"Wait  Cheryl is your cousin as in family member" Archie says

"Yes Archie cousins are apart of your family which makes them family members" Jughead says sarcastically and Archie glares at him.

"Yeah her mom is my dads sister." I say

"Wow how's living with her as a cousin" Veronica says

"She isn't bad for the 2 days I've known her." I say and eat some of Jughead's macaroni and cheese.

"Hey" he says

"I don't feel like walking all the way up there and get Mac and cheese and then walk all the way back he-"

"Fine I'll get it for you brb" he says. He kisses my cheek and walks to the lunch line.

"Wait you only known her for two days? How are you cousins then" Archie asks

"Our parents fought I guess and never talked again. So we didn't know each other" I say

"Oh" he says

"So why don't you just ask your dad why they don't talk anymore" Veronica says

"I wish but he...he passed away" I say

"Oh my I'm so sorry I didn't know" Veronica says

"I know it's okay V" I smile at her.

Later

I'm at home,Jughead came with me today.

"Okay so what is your mom interviewing America exactly" Jughead says 

"I don't know. But she's probably freaking out she loves America." I say and lay on him.

"So what now I'm your bed" he chuckles

"Yeah" I smile and cuddled into him.

"Hmm...well I think it's cute and I think you're cute" he kisses my hair.

"Wait," I get off of him and sit up, "Take off your beanie" I smile.

"Why" he says and sits up.

"Just do it...please" and I pout at him.

"Fine" he takes off his beanie. I straddle his lap and look at his hair.

His hair is a little longer now. Not that much though.

"How's it looking. No bald spots?" He says

"No bald spots" I smile. Jughead looks at me and then kisses me. Then he grabs my waist to pull me closer to him.

He leans back with me still on him. He squeezes my waist which makes me giggle.

"Hey Bet- Oh we are not doing this" Charles says walking into my room. I get off Jughead and he sits up.

"What do you want Charles" I say

"I forgot now since I walked in on my sister kissing a boy." He says

"Well we're dating what do you expect Charles?" I say

"You're too young for kissing" he snaps

"No im not mom had her first kiss at 14" I say

"So moms different" he says and I roll my eyes

"Get out of my room Charles" I stand he leaves but not before he glares at Jughead.

"I'm sorry about him." I say

"It's fine. But I think if I had a little sister and she was dating someone 2 years older than her I would do the same." He says

"Well then she'll hate you" I smile. He chuckles and kisses me.
