hi babes we kit 4k! tysm! i love you all so muchhh!! um i drew a duck today on facetime with a friend (she reads these. hi!!!) and it gave me an idea for this (ducky is at the bottom of the chapter) on your 'chosen' day, there's a pair of geese that herd you and your soulmate towards each other
misto pov i pull the covers off me, swinging my feet over the edge of the mattress.
as i stand, i hear a honk (what a funny thing to write). my heart nearly drops. it's my day! i change out of my pyjamas and into a nice looking pair of jeans.
as i comb my hair, the goose honks impatiently and runs towards me.
"okay, okay! i'm going!"
the goose chases me out of the house and onto the street. i look around. no one near me is being chased by a goose. not yet, at least.
the goose honks once more, and i keep speed-walking. it trots close behind me, supervising.
i hear a distant honk, and i snap my head up. there's a boy with light brown hair also being corralled by a white goose.
my goose honks yet again, and bites (?) my ankle. i look both ways and cross the street.
"are you, by chance, also being harassed by that goose?" i ask him awkwardly as i approach.
the guy looks up from glaring at his goose. "uh, yeah..."
i chuckle quietly. "it seems we're soulmates..."
both geese honk loudly in unison. we take this as a yes.
hi sorry it's short but i needed to get that out of my system. also i think i typed the word "honk" more times than i ever have in my entire life.
