Final Exams

Final exams were coming up and they were coming up fast . I decided that having Annabeth help me study was a good idea. I was also invited to study with Bakugo and Kirishima. Lucky for me there were a whole round of Greek mythology questions that I could nail thanks to the fact that I had encountered many of the things they were talking about in real life and in dreams. Oh yea did I mention demigods have strange dreams? Well they do. Basically when i dream I can dream about problems arising now other people and even points in Ancient Greek history. Being the daughter of the god of prophecy also doesn't help out much because sometimes I can see the future. Anyways back to my study methods and school. The day the final exams were announced people were asking people in higher years what the practical exam was to prepare and also because the teachers wouldn't say anything about the exams. We had heard that we were facing up against robots like in the entrance. My personal theory is that they changed the exam because they change everything on us this year. "Hey Baylee me and  Bakugo are going to study at this cafe later and I was wondering if you would like to join I think you can help us with English and with Greek myths because they threw that in there" Kirishima said as he grabbed a cup to take a drink of water. 

"Yea I would love to" I said nodding and smiling

"For the record I'm only letting you come because weird hair begged me" Bakugo said taking a bite of his food 

"Dude my name is Kirishima and how many ties to I have to tell you that our hair isn't that different" Kirishima said rolling his eyes. 

"Whatever" Bakugo shot back. That study session as going to be fun. I could tell. I was definitely going to tick off Bakugo with my inability to focus for long periods of time. That weekend I got u got dressed in black leggings and a blue swim team hoodie with the name JACKSON printed on the back. Percy had given it to me before I left for Japan as something to remember him by. I put my hair in a high ponytail grabbed my stuff and set off to the cafe I was meeting Kirishima and Bakugo at. As I walked in the place I heard yelling yep Bakugo is definitely here I thought. I eventually found the loud blonde sitting at a table with a smiling red-head and three waters. 

"Hi guys" I said sitting down next to Kirishima then we got started. After a while we just ended up talking together. 

"Hey lava lamp why are you wearing a swim team shirt?" Bakugo asked slouching in his seat

"You can read the English in this?" I asked surprised 

"Yes I can now answer my question"

"Oh it was my friend Percy's he gave it to me as something to remember him by. He is an amazing swimmer he can hold his breath for so long. It honestly seems like he is stronger in the water its crazy. Anyways he was the captain of the swim team at his high school" I replied 

"He seems like a pretty cool dude" Kirishima said

"Yea he is. I can show you what he looks like if you want" I said and they nodded, so I pulled out my phone and showed them a picture of me, Percy, and Annabeth at camp in front of Zeus's Fist. 

"Who's the blonde chick?" Bakugo asked pointing to Annabeth

"Oh her thats Annabeth. She is the smartest, and strongest person I know. We have been friends ever since we were 12 years old, well thats the case for all of us" I said. We then got back to studying and me ticking off Bakugo with my squirrel moments. 

"Wow Baylee you really know a lot about Greek myths" Kirishima complemented as we walked out the door. 

"Aww thanks but not nearly as much as you know about being manly" I flirted back.

"Oh my gosh would you two lovebirds just kiss already" Bakugou said as he tuned off to go to his house and soon I had made it to the Jiro household

Before we knew it Monday came and it was time for the final exams. I think I did pretty well on the written exams thanks to my studying with Annabeth and thanks to Bakugo and Kirishima. Then came the practical exam. Turns out we were facing off against the teachers in pairs. Only one problem there was an odd number of students in the class. Oh yea and the teachers are pro heroes but thats not the thing I'm worried about. I want to know who the unlucky lonely kid is and what they have to do. Aizawa explained the excersise then the teams. We would have to either handcuff our teachers down or get one teamate out the exit safe.  Turns out that unlucky lonely kid was me and I would have to face off against Aizawa by myself. Jokes on him I'm not all that dependent on my powers. Also I have other ways of avoiding fights how do you think I didn't die on quests to save the world with Percy and Annabeth. 

I knew I couldn't beat my teacher head on so I decided the best strategy was for me to run out the door. When the buzzer rang I didn't see Mr. Aizawa but I took the chance to get out of sight. I walked in dark alleyways because my power has to do with light so it is something my teacher wouldn't expect. I was almost to the gate when he finally spotted me and started to use his quirk. "Umm Mr. Aizawa you can't erase my quirk if I wasn't using  it in the first place. See you in class I said and I bolted to the exit, blinding my teacher so he didn't have time to react to me running. The Automated voice said that I had passed the test and I walked back to where the rest of the students were. I looked and they were awestruck Todoroki approached me

"Wow Hansen that was an impressive strategy" He said

"Thanks I learned from my friend Annabeth and how many times do I have to tell you to call me Baylee" I said

"Sorry wanna sit with me at lunch?" he asked polietly

"Sure I'd love to" I said and walked away. That was when I saw Kirishima being held back by Bakugo. He looked mad, which was weird because I had never seen him actually mad before.
