Todoroki's POV:

My bed was warm and somewhat comfortable in the Apollo cabin. For some reason Baylee had a giant moose sitting on her bed. As I was making my bed as comfortable and as close to mine as it could get I fund myself looking over at her. She was laughing and talking with her brother. I could tell she had missed him during the school year. In fact I could tell she missed this whole place while she was in Japan. She really seemed to be at home here. I wonder what it was like here when she was younger. When did she first come to this place? I had so many questions, but I was too afraid to ask unlike Kirishima who seemed to have all the confidence he needed (Oh todoroki if only you knew) to talk to her. That night we had a campfire, and everyone seemed to be having fun. Well everyone except me. I wanted to talk to Baylee so badly I wanted to hang out with her here, But I couldn't figure out how to talk to her. That night we went to bed fine.

I was woken up in the middle of the night by slight squeaks and mutterings. I also heard crying. It was coming from the bunk in front of mine which belonged to Baylee. She was having a nightmare so I shook her awake calmly saying her name. She woke up with a fearful look on her face, but when she saw me she played it off as not that bad. Though her actions directly defied what she was saying. She was still shaking and crying, I could tell she was still on alert. So, I did the one thing that came to my mind, the one thing that helps me with my nightmares. I sat down on the bed and gave her a hug. I held her there until she stopped shaking and grabbed her a drink of water then went to bed for the rest of the night.

At breakfast they had these weird cups and plates that gave you what you asked for. I asked for cold soba and some water. (OH come on SOBA over a CHEESEBURGER?) Over breakfast we talked or should I say they talked and I jut sat there being quiet. They did want to go Pegasus riding which seemed fun and so I agreed. Did I mention they were weird here? They dump half of their food into the fire for no reason.  After they dump their food we headed over to the stables. There were many magnificent horses there one was all black, another was all white with a fiery mane and tail, but the one that caught my eye was the one that looked as if my ice quirk was a horse. It was brilliant white with a deep blue mane and tail. Even at the bottom of the wings there was the same deep blue. "That one with the blue right there is Isabella" Percy said from behind me.

"Do you think I could ride her?" I asked

"Oh wow he speaks" He said sarcastically. "Yea you can ride her let me get the saddle and you go get to know her" He said motioning to the horse. I walked up  to her. She sniffed my left side and nuzzled into my right side. I was already starting to like her she was a fairly calm animal and she was sweet too. She reminded me of Baylee which might be why I liked her so much. Percy saddled up her and I hopped on. Percy muttered something to the horse that I couldn't make out then instructed me on how to take off. I did as he taught me and she ran fast then faster then the next thing I knew we were soaring through the air. Looking up over the camp was amazing. The place was beautiful, and everything looked so small. I felt free for the first time in a long time I felt that I could be myself and that I was free from my father. It was all going great until I spotted Baylee and Kirishima. Baylee had the biggest smile on her face and I could hear her whooping with joy from a distance. Kirishima had his arms around her but he was also crying out with joy. The two of them were laughing together and having a lot of fun. Baylee spotted me and waved over at me. I shyly waved back. I desperately wanted to be the one having fun there on that horse with her, but I always got so nervous around her. She was probably going to end up with Kirishima anyways so there's no point in trying. Oh how I wish she would choose me instead.
