6. Revelations

Dongwoo's POV

We are already tracking down the whereabouts of the man but it seems like he doesn't have that much record.

"We've checked all the CCTV footages on the neighborhood and at Hongdae Station but we didn't find him," Hoya said with disappointment.

"Found him!" Hyun Mae suddenly shouted who is still focused on her laptop.

We immediately hovered around Hyun Mae to check the CCTV footage she's looking at.

"There," she said, pointing at a certain person on the laptop. "He's wearing a different shirt but that's the cap and the pants he's wearing. I'm definitely sure that's him."

"That's at Hongdae Station, near the men's restroom," Sungjong said, still staring at the footage.

"Good job, Hyun Mae," chief patted her shoulder. "Alright guys, here's the plan. Sungkyu's team, you're in charge of Hongdae Station. Ask people from there if they've seen this man.

Hoya's team and Dongwoo's team, you're in charge of the the victim's family. Hoya's team will be look outs while Dongwoo and Hyun Mae will interview the family. We never know, the criminal might harm the family as well.

Let's move guys!" Chief instructed.

"Annyeong haseyo, we are the police and we are here to investigate the death of Sanghyun," we introduced ourselves and showed the man our badges when he slightly opened the door.

We are at the victim's place right now to gather some information. Hoya's team are left in the van to be look outs.

"I already told you, we don't want any further investigation!" the man irritatingly said.

"We are sorry to disturb you mister but we just need to ask some questions for us to catch the criminal who killed which I assume is your son," I politely said.

"How many times do I have to tell you that we don't need your help! We don't want any further investigation! I already told that to the police who first handled my Son's case!" he's now raging from anger.

A woman came near him and tried to calm him down by holding his arm. I think she's the man's wife.

"I don't want to see any police coming here again!" he shouted then slammed the door shut.

"That's weird. Why don't they want further investigation of their Son's death? Don't they want to seek justice?" Hyun Mae asked, bewildered at what just happened.

We are about to go back to the van when the door opened again and revealed the lady from a while ago. She hurriedly gave me a piece of paper and immediately shut the door again. I looked at the paper and realized that it's a note.

[Hongdae park. Tonight. 9pm.] The note says.

"What does that mean?" Hyun Mae  asked me.

"Someone wants to meet us. We need to go there tonight to find out," I said. I crumpled the paper and slid it inside my pocket.

[Hongdae Park. 8:50 pm]

"Are you sure that that's the meaning of the message that the lady gave you?" Myungsoo asked while wandering his eyes around the park.

We are currently inside the van, waiting for  someone to arrive. I looked at the message again. I'm sure that someone wants to meet us, that's what the note wants to tell us.

"Look, someone's coming," Hoya said and pointed a lady wearing a hooded jacket. She stopped near the swing and she seems like anxiously waiting for someone.
