Hyun Mae's POV
"Name?" I asked for the nth time but this guy in front of me doesn't speak a word. I irritatingly tap his head with the ruler on my desk.
"Are you mute? You're just gonna tell me your freaking name!" I shouted. Hoya slid his chair close to mine and pat my shoulder.
"Chill. Getting angry won't be good for you," he said with his calming voice. I deeply sighed and gazed at this criminal in front of me.
"If you don't want to say your name then tell me your address," I said and readied my fingers on my laptop keyboards. I gave him a sharp stare when he still doesn't want to speak.
"Eish Jinja! Do you want to get hurt?!" my voice echoed through out the station.
Sungyeol, who just arrived from a stakeout, tapped the subject's head with the tip of his cap. "Yah! Want to just end up behind the bars?" The subject continuously shook his head. "Then tell her your freaking name!"
I held the back of my neck from frustration when he still won't speak and just innocently stared at me. "Waaa~ You're giving me too much stress."
"Kwenchana? Want me to do that instead?" Myungsoo worriedly asked.
"Aniya, I'm fine," I smiled at him.
"Where's Dongwoo? He should be beside you at all times especially these days," Sungkyu blurted out and gave me a glass of water.
"He has a stakeout together with Sungjong, Woohyun and Chief," I explained.
I bet you all are confused on why they pay extra attention on me. It's because they worry for someone that's inside my tummy, alive and kicking. Yep, that's right! I'm pregnant and I'm expected to give birth anytime soon.
They are all spoiling me when they learned about my pregnancy. They always bring me food that I'm craving for. There was one time when I craved for ice-cream in the middle of the night. Just one call of Dongwoo and they all came with different varieties of ice-cream.
"Yah! You better answer her questions if you don't want me to strangle you," Sungkyu irritatingly said to the subject.
"Why don't you want to talk? If you're innocent then speak to us," I am now calm.
"If..." the subject starts to talk. "If I tell my information... then I'll have difficulty finding a job if I already have police record. I'm innocent. I assure you I'm innocent. I was just framed," he said with his pleading eyes.
Three ahjumas brought this guy here saying that he keeps on stealing from their stall.
I leaned my arms on my desk and look at him. "Let's say that you were framed. Can you tell me who framed you?"
He kept silent and his eyes wavered like he's nervous. I tap the desk in front of him to get his attention.
"You have to cooperate with us if you really don't want to have a police record. Prove to us that you are innocent," I said and he looked at me.
"My brother let me do it," he nervously said. I typed that information on my laptop.
"Can you tell me where your brother is?" I asked. Once again, he remained silent. I let out a frustrated sigh and leaned my head on the headrest of my swivel chair.
"Stay there. We'll continue this later," I said and stood up to get a soda from a vending machine. I suddenly craved for Cola.
"Where are you going?" Hoya asked.
"Will just get something to drink," I replied.
"Let me do it for you. What do you want?" he's about to stand but I stopped him.
