5. Trauma

Dongwoo's POV

After a delicious and healthy breakfast at Hyun Mae's place, Hyun Mae and I went to the police station to work.

"Ooh~ the partners in crime are here," Woohyun sang who is sitting on his post and drinking coffee.

"You two came together?" Sungkyu asked who just came out of the file room, he's holding a folder and reviewing it.

"Ne," I said as I took off my cap and sat on my post.

"You did?!" Sungyeol suddenly asked out loud.

"Will you keep your voice down? Yes we did came together. Apparently, I slept at her house," I bluntly said. Sungyeol slid his swivel chair closer to mine.

"You what?! You slept at her house?!" he asked with his eyes wide open.

"Yes, I did. What's the big deal?" I irritatingly said. "Stop that dirty thoughts of yours, nothing happened between us."

I turned my laptop on and checked the files I've been working for weeks. I glanced at Hyun Mae  and saw that she's blushing.

"What's the fuss all about, Yeollie? Will you keep it down. I'm trying to work here," Hoya said and continued typing on his laptop.

"Nothing happened? Eeii~ that's impossible.. I saw you last night ki-" Sungyeol was cut from talking when Hyun Mae  suddenly covered his mouth.

"Sungyeol-ah, want to have a cup of coffee? I'm expert in making one," she nervously chuckled then dragged Sungyeol into the recreation area.

What was that about? Last night? Did something happen last night? I tried to remember anything but I really can't so I just shrug the thought away and get back to what I was doing.

Hyun Mae's POV

"Seems like Dongwoo doesn't remember a thing about last night and you're trying to hide it from him," Sungyeol gave me a suspicious look.

Making him a cup of coffee is just an excuse to make him stop on what he's about to say. I gave him his coffee and made another one for me.

"It's good that he doesn't remember a thing because if he does then I'm sure that things will go back like before. I don't want him to treat me coldly again," I explained as I stirred my coffee.

"It seems like you have feelings for him," he teased.

"Mwo? Psh.. Why do you say so?"

"Because if not then you should have pushed him or did something when he kissed you last night. Based on what I saw, you gladly accepted it," he grinned.

"I-I was shocked at that time t-that I don't know w-what to react," I stammered.

"By the way, how did you see us? As what I remember, you were talking to someone before I went out of the bar," I asked.

[Anniversary, Gangnam Bar - Sungyeol's flashback]

"Excuse me, I just need to go somewhere," I excused myself from the person I was talking to and went to the restroom to pee.

My jaw dropped as I got inside the restroom. It is full of people. Jeez! Why now! My bladders are about to burst.

Moments like this calls for desperate measures. I went outside the bar and looked for a place where I can pee. I desperately run towards the dark corner and peed on the bushes. Ahh~ that feels great!

I'm done relieving and is about to go back inside when I saw Dongwoo at a dark corner beside the bar, he's with someone. I tilt my head to take a clear look and realized that it's Hyun Mae.
