Dongwoo's POV
I chuckled at Hoya's reaction when he got inside my house. He seems like he doesn't believe what he's seeing right now.
"Are my eyes alright? Why is your house sparkling clean?" he asked as he placed a paper bag on the kitchen counter. He opened the fridge and was shocked too to see the containers of food that Hyun Mae brought yesterday.
"You cooked? Where did these dishes come from?" he asked while putting the containers of food he brought inside the fridge.
I finished tying my shoelaces and said "Those are from Hyun Mae" with a smile plastered on my face. Hoya stood straight up and looked at me.
"She went here?" he shockingly asked.
"Yep," I simply responded.
"And she cleaned your house?"
"Yep," I once again responded and stood up. I grabbed my cap that is on the center table and wore it.
"Let's go, we might be late," I told him. He looked at me with his teasing stare.
"Looks like someone is in a good mood," he sang. I wrapped my arm around his neck and dragged him out.
"Arasso, arasso..." he said while he continuously tapping my arm. I let go of him when we are already in front of his car.
"It's still early. We haven't even had our breakfast," he whined.
"Let's just grab some on our way," I said and hopped inside his car.
"Yah, aren't you going to use your own car?" he whined again.
"I'm lazy to drive. Can't we just get going?" I gave him a straight face and he did the same.
"Psh," he hopped in and we drove our way to the police station but stopped at a dinner first to eat some breakfast.

Hoya's POV
"Annyeong..."
"That was a great work you did last week..."
"Hey dude!"
What's wrong with this guy today? He seems...oddly happy. Dongwoo greets everyone he sees as soon as we arrived at the police station and it kinda freaks me out.
"Keep up the good work, ahjuma," he even greeted the janitress. What's happening in the world?!
Well he used to be like that when we were still rookies and when Hee Young was still...alive. Does this mean that... He's in love again??
"Yah, bro. What's with you today? You don't seem like... You," I said as I got near him. We are walking by the hallway on the way to our team's post.
"What nonsense are you talking about?" he said and happily continued walking.
Heol! Now this really freaks me out!
We arrived at our post and I saw all of them are already here. Hyun Mae is putting coffee on our tables while the rest are sitting on their post. She slightly bowed to us as she saw us and I saw that she smiled at Dongwoo and he did the same to her.
Oooohhhh... Now I get it. So she's the reason why Dongwoo's hyperness came back. I walked towards Hyun Mae and pat her shoulder.
"Good job, Hyun Mae," I said pertaining to making Dongwoo come back to his real self but I guess she got the message wrong.
"As a rookie it's my responsibility to at least make my sunbaes a cup of coffee," she said and smiled sweetly. She placed the last coffee that's on the tray she's carrying on Dongwoo's table.
