Chapter 4

At the party

YN POV

Wow, there are a lot of people here. Nini was with EJ so I kinda was in the backyard talking to Gina on the swing set he has.

—YN, do you really want to study abroad without revealing your feelings for Ricky?— Gina asked as she took a sip of her soda.

—I rather have it that way. Besides, he said it himself, we've been friends for way too long for anything to happen between us.— I said.

—So? Austin and Ally were friend and ended up together. Chandler and Monica were friends and ended up together, the same with Ross and Rachel..— Gina starts pointing out.

—TV shows don't count, Gina.— I say as I twiddle my thumbs.

Ricky POV

I was outside EJ's house debating whether or not I enter the party.

—Ricky, just go in, you are a theater geek now, embrace it.— Pierce told me.

—Pierce, you don't help.— I say.

—Just go in, Ricardo. Nini is there, you can tell Nini about the letter.— Red tells me.

—Fine, but if I'm going, you're coming with me.— I say and then grab Red's wrist and entered EJ's house to see Nini in the corner with EJ.

—Want a drink, babe?— EJ asked Nini.

—Get me a coke.— Nini said and kissed EJ. I shuddered and walked to Nini.— Hey Ricky, you made it.

—Yeah. I wanted to talk to you about something.— I tell her.

—Yeah, sure. About what?— Nini asked.

—I found an interesting letter in my locker today.— I tell her.

—Well that's nice, Ricky.

—When I look at you, I can't take my eyes off of you. I long to have your arms around me and feel your body against mine.— I recite to Nini as I get closer to her, our lips brushing against each other. Then I feel someone yank me by my jacket.

—Are you hitting on my girlfriend, Bowen?— EJ asked me a little angry.

—EJ, leave him alone.— Nini said.

—Oh hey, Ricky, thank goodness I found you. EJ, don't listen to anything Ricky says or does, he's drunk.— YN says as she pushes me away from EJ and Nini. Now YN and I are outside by Pierce's car. I left Red inside, he was eating all the snacks.— Ricky, one question, what the hell were you thinking?— YN asked.

Sorry, Red and the other guys got inside my head. I got a love letter this morning from someone and they convinced me it was from Nini.— I said.

—Really? What did the letter say?— YN asked.

—Everything I said to Nini.— I said, I hit the hood of the car causing Pierce to lower his window and screaming

—What you want?

—I'm walking YN home, Red is inside eating.— I tell him and the two of us continue walking.

—If the letter was everything you said, than it wasn't bad at all,.— YN says.

—But I completely embarrassed myself in front of Nini, YN.— I say.

—Well....if you are "crazy" about Nini and you want her to notice you, then right a love letter yourself.— YN said.

—But she'll won't take it seriously coming from me, o bet EJ' would throw it away,— I said.

—Not if you don't sign it. Look, if you want, you can write the letter, give it to me, and then I'll give it to Nini.— YN said.

—Thanks. You're a good friend.— I told her and now we are at the front of her house.— Before I forget, my wallet.— I say while holding my hand out.

—Oh yeah.— YN said as she gives me my wallet and goes to her house.

YN POV

What did I just agree to do?

Question Time:

When Ricky Bowen teams up with popular girl and heiress, April Souza, to direct a movie to win a film festival to go to Hollywood film camp. Why did April agree to do the movie? It's simple, she wanted to be prom queen and Gina Porter was in her way. If April and Ricky teamed up, they both would get exactly what they wanted. However, not everything goes according to plan.
