I hope y'all like reading this story as much as I love writing it

YN POV

We finally made it to the beach or at least I think we did, I felt the van stop.

—YN, we're here.— Gina told me as she moves my arm and I opened my eyes,

—Finally!— I said as I stood up.— Ow, chingada madre.— (Again, no literal translation, probably "mother fucker") I said because I freaking hit my head on the car ceiling.

—You okay?— Ricky asked,

—Does it look like I'm okay? Pierce, did you pay for parking?— I asked.

—Of course i did. Red paid for me.— pierce said.

—I did what?— Red asked as he checked his pockets— You stole my wallet, didn't you?— he asked.

—Learned from the best.— Pierce said as we fist bump

—Can we leave? I need a soak...and a tan.— Red said.

—He's right, lets go.— Peter said as pierce unlocked the doors and we left the van and saw the beach.

—Damn, you gotta love Bear Lake.— I say. We were walking and I was right next to Ricky.

—So YN, you have anything to tell me?— Ricky asked me.

—Like what?— I asked.

—Like if you have a crush, a new phone, a study abroad program in Spain, that kind of secretive stuff. How could you not tell me, you're my best friend.— Ricky said with puppy dog eyes.

—Ricky, I don't look at me like that with your big brown eyes, it's like trying to argue with a puppy.— I say and Ricky stopped pouting.

—But like come on, Lilo, how could you not tell me? We spend everyday together, you can't tell me "there wasn't a good time to tell ya"— Ricky said trying to imitate the way I talk. By the way, he calls me Lilo because well, Lilo and Stitch, best friends, my favorite Disney movie, and I can reenact the hula scene. I call him Stitch, those are our nicknames for each other that we use when we are feeling sentimental.

—It's because I know how big a deal summers are for you. You always like to be out and about and I'm always the one riding shotgun. Besides, I knew it would crush you if we don't do our August camping trips a week before school starts.— I say.— Wait, how did you find out about Spain anyway, Ricardo?

—I might have overheard you and Gina talking. But let's hit the beach, I don't think you want to lose your glorious tan.— Ricky said as he ran towards the other guys. You gotta love him , I know I do. I walked to where Gina was

—What did you guys talk about? Did you finally tell him about Spain?

—Didn't have to, be overheard and I explained the whole thing and now we're chill.— I said as I laid down on the chair. Then I saw Ricky take off his shirt. Sweet niblets, that boy looks fine.

—I'm gonna hit the water. When I get back, we need to talk about the letter.— he told me as he goes to the water in his swim trunks. Why does he have to be so cute. Anyway, I took off my clothes and just had my bathing suit, tryna get that good tan.

—So you really are gonna help him write Nini a letter. Do you think you can handle it?— Gina asked me.

—Honestly I have no idea. We're gonna see how much self control I have.— I say. As I look off to the water, I see Ricky's wet curly hair and I bite my lower lip.

—By the looks of it, you're lacking self control.— Gina said and I threw a towel at her.— Easy on the curls.

—Easy on the teasing.
