Chapter 15

Ricky POV

I finished the letter I wanted to give to Nini so i went to YN's house to give it to her. I knocked on the door and YN's mom answered and let me in, I was walking to YN's room when I heard.

—....I don't know if I should tell Ricky that Nini and EJ broke up.— YN said,

—Nini and EJ broke up?!?— i said.

—I gotta go, Gina. Ricky, what are you doing here?

—Your mom let me in. What you said was serious, Nini and EJ actually broke up?— I asked.

—Yes, they broke up. Apparently Nini loved the letter so much that I caused her to break up with EJ because he wasn't as romantic as you are.

YN POV

Oh my gosh, actually saying that makes me sick.

—That's awesome!— Ricky said,

—Are you happy about being a home wrecker?— I asked.

—In all seriousness, they weren't going to last.

—Hold on, let me rinse my mask off then we can continue talking.— I said. After I rinsed my mask off.—How do you know they weren't going to last?— I asked.

—Well....EJ is kinda self absorbed and selfish....— Ricky said,

—Said the guy who auditioned for High School Musical just to be close to Nini,— I said.

—Whatever, Y/N, can you give this letter to Nini tomorrow?— Ricky asked me.

—Fine, I'll do it.

—Thank you so much.— Ricky said.— The guys and I were going to catch a movie tomorrow night, wanna come with?

—Yeah, of course, I'll just tell my mom.— I said. Ricky then left my room. I called Gina back.—Gina, I honestly don't understand boys.

—Whats there to understand? They are very simple creatures, it just takes a pretty face and they are whipped AF. But why do you ask?

—Ricky came over and overheard us say that Nini and EJ broke up, right? He was all "yes, they're broken up, woohoo, now she can fall in love with me" and that kind of bullshit. But then he invited me to the movies with his other friends. What is up with that?

—They are simple creatures, also, it's not like it's completely out of the ordinary that he invites you to the movies. You guys are the best of friends, besides, you're going with Peter, Pierce, Jonah, and big red. Why couldn't you have fallen in love with Peter instead? He's really cute and sweet.

—Because I have like zero control over my heart. I would have loved to have fallen in love with Peter but I guess it wasn't in the cards. I just opened the letter Ricky wrote and my god, it's horrible. How did he pass English class?

—Because English is more like restating, it's not creative. Good luck with your Ricky problem.

—Thanks, I'll need it.
