YN POV

Yesterday was awesome, you know. Nini and i spent time together like old times and it was amazing, no complications. Right now I am taking a shower to later go to Ricky's house. After my shower, I did my hair, moisturized, and then I got dressed.

I said goodbye to my parents and I knocked on Ricky's door and his dad opened it for me.

—Hey, YN, you're just on time for breakfast, come on in.— Mike said.

—Thanks, Mike. So what did you make?— I asked and then i walked to the kitchen and saw Ricky serving himself breakfast.

—He made scrambled eggs, pancakes, and bacon.— Ricky said.

—Ooh yay, bacon.— I said. I say at the table and I served myself a plate and we started eating.

—So YN, how are your parents doing?— mike asked me.

—They're doing really well, actually.— I said.

—Great to hear it. Ricky told me you got accepted to the study abroad program in Spain. Are you excited?— mike asked me.

—Of course I'm excited, I'll be learning so much stuff.

—And hopefully bringing me something back.— Ricky said.

—Yeah, you already know.— I said.

—Well, i gotta work, you two kids have fun.— mike said and he left us.

—Now that my dad's gone, what did Nini say?— Ricky asked me.

—Nini said she loved the letter.

—Did she say that? Like...did she say "I love the letter"?— Ricky asked.

—For crap's sake, she said it was the most romantic letter she has ever gotten.— I said taking a big bite of bacon.

—Hey, whats wrong? You usually don't snap until we play video games.

—Nothings wrong, I just have a lot on my mind.— I said.

—You know you can come to me.— Ricky said, little does he know I can't tell him I am totally in love with the skater boy.

—I know, you dork. I have a quick question; how long have you been "in love" with Nini?

—Wait, whats with the air quotes?— ricky asked,

—It's nothing, tell me.— I pried subtly.

—I don't know, I guess it started when the 3 of us went to six flags.— Ricky said,

—Oh yeah..haha, i remember you puking all over Nini's sneakers. I wish my mom let me have a phone back than, I could have recorded that.— I said.

—I'm glad your mom is so strict on you, you would have made that into a boomerang on Instagram.— Ricky said.

—You know me so well.— I said.— So you have been in love with Nini since 7th grade?

—Yep, pretty much. You know, I was thinking of writing her another letter since she loved mine so much.- Ricky said and I dramatically fell off my chair.— YN, I'm being serious.

—Fine.— I said getting off of the floor.— Well Casanova, begin writing the letter.

—Not now, I'll write it when you leave. Right now...it's our hang out time, just the two of us.— Ricky said.

—Like back in the day. That reminds me....is our photo album still in the attic?— I asked.

—It should be. But come on, let's watch a movie and then we can play video games.— Ricky said.

—Sure, sure. But what movie though?

—I am not watching another Tom Holland movie with you.— Ricky said,

—But why not?— I whined.

—Because this is my house.— Ricky said in his fake angry voice.

—I'm leaving soon and you are treating me like that?— I said as I gave him my best puppy dog eyes and I pouted, I looked hella adorable.

—Here's The remote.— Ricky said defeated and I hugged him saying "thank you" so I can put Spider-Man far from home.

My own crazy opinion; I believe this generation of students are part of "The Blip" in real life. Thanos snapped; half of the population is gone.
