When you love a writer
You're at more risk than they are
They may break you down
Your walls and security
With one gaze
That seem loving to you
And write tales of your life
Into words woven
From passion and strength
Of you
They will stay with you
And express the feelings
In words
Some dark some coloured
They will predict the future
Even before it begins
And will live the time
Knowing they knew this will happen
When you spend time with writer
They find a story in you
Satisfied that your presence
Gives them content
That even though
You may never love them back
They will create you
In their own way
In their own words
And will live through it
In their head
Throughout
They will learn you
Observe and understand
And solve you down
In their mind
Maybe not as expressive
in real
Like they are on paper and pen
But they'd know you
Better than you let out
Because that's what they do
And in the end
Just like they justify
The endings of every bad story
In their little tales
They'll justify your presence
Or - absence
In their life
And live content
With their paper and pen
In their hands
And a smile on face
Cherishing the time
Always in their minds
And no hard feelings.
