It figures that Y/N would wear the new (suit/dress) that Eilis had bought them after Newt explained what the term 'Put on your Sunday clothes' meant. In short to the little one, as he was busing himself with feeding the last of his beasts, he said to them:

"Wear the best clothes you have, and try your best not to get them dirty."

So now, the two were walking through the streets of England, both comfortably hand in hand. Despite not liked being touched, both Y/N and Newt were surprisingly okay with holding each other's hand; mostly for the wizard to guide the child through the busy crowds of London. When they were entering King's Cross Railway Station, Y/N stopped in their tracks, still holding their guardian's hand.

Newt looked at them, slightly worried. "What is it?"

Y/N pursed their lips in nervousness. "Why are we going?"

"Well," he began. "there's a man I'd like you to meet, he's a very good friend of mine."

The child's face beamed at the mention. "The baker?!"

"What?"

"You said you had a friend who was a baker, but you couldn't see him."

Newt was taken aback at first, but then relaxed, shaking his head. "You're thinking of my friend, Jacob. He's in America right now, so you're right, I wouldn't be able to see him. How did you know about him?"

"You told me," they gave him a funny look.

"I did? When?"

"Few days ago," they shrugged as they walked down the stairs. "when we were at Eilis' bakery?"

Newt tilted his head at them, but soon, a smile spread upon his lips. "You have an amazing memory, are you aware of that?"

They shrugged, looking away from him as they walked down the stairs to be at the train tracks. "I guess. I can't read though."

When the two were on solid ground, trying to avoid other people rushing by them, Newt placed his suitcase on the ground. After flicking the dial on his case to 'Muggle Worthy', he opened his case, then picked up two children's books, holding them for Y/N to see.

The child's eyes grew wide, and they looked over into the case. There was a scarf, another book, a spare shirt, and a magnifying glass. Y/N looked over at Newt in puzzlement.

"H-h-how?" they tried to process.

Newt only smiled. "Where else would I put my belongings?"

"In the-...oh." They realized.

He laughed, then put the books away and shut his case before standing back up. "Come on then, we don't want to be late."

Y/N followed him like a lost puppy, sticking close to him at all times, especially when they felt the crowd was nearly smothering them. They heard Newt mumble as they walked.

"Seven, eight, nine, ten, we're here!"

The child looked around themselves. Which one was it again?

"Nine or ten?" They asked.

"Neither," Newt smiled. "it's Platform Nine and Three-Quarters."

Y/N slowly looked up at the tall man right beside them. "Huh?"

Newt crouched down to their height, and pointed. "Alright, do you see that wall? Yes, that one right in front of you. That is the gate for us to get to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. All we have to do, is run right through it."
