"Regina where do you think your going!" I scowled turning to face my Mother, "Well since I am not interested in the test or the Prince I thought I could go up to my room and read." She raised an eye brow.
"Sit." Groaning I walked over and sat next to Linsey. The fact that my Mother is forcing me to stay confuses me, her usual response is letting me leave. What was even weirder was the person asking me questions in the middle of town today.
Shutting my eyes I recalled the incident from this morning.
I walked into town with Linsey and Gray at my side. Right as they saw all the colorful stands they ran off. "Gray! Linsey! Please stay with me!" Shaking my head I was to late, they had already disappeared.
Sighing I smiled, this is completely normal they are still kids after all. Catching a captivating sent I went in search of the owner, soon I found my self in front of the Cherry tart stand. Licking my upper lip I placed the money in the venders hand .
Well it sucks to be Gray and Linsey right now because I have all the money. I laughed to myself as I thought about them finding something they really desired and figuring out that they don't have the money to purchase it. I bit into the tart and smiled.
This is the best thing I have ever tasted, turning I almost ran into a women holding a clip board. "Whoa! Sorry I wasn't looking where I was going." She smiles and looks down at the tart. "Those are good aren't they?" I nodded.
"Well sorry to bother you," "Please wait! May I ask you name?" "A.... Sure I'm Regina Lester." She nodded and wrote something down "So what do you think about this Kingdom?" I tilted my head, was this women serious? "Probably that it needs better care." I said as I watched her scribble on the clipboard.
"And the royal family?" I held back a laugh. "They are the reason the town is in runes. I say they didn't have any reason for the war a couple years ago." I pointed to a building "That there used to be a bakery and now it's a pile of blocks."
She nodded and wrote again. What on earth is she writing down on that paper of hers? I was about ask but was caught off guard by her speaking. "Thank you for your time." After that she walked over to a stand and handed the vendor a coin.
She walked back and handed me a pastry. "The croissant with chocolate is better." "But." She put a hand up "This is just a thank you for answering my questions." I stared at her as she walked away.
I shrugged and looked down at the dessert, well she did buy it for me wouldn't want it to go to waste. Taking a single bite I smiled, she was right these are much better.
I shook my head and put my sight back on the tv. "And the princes name is........" Before the reporter could say anything a guy came out and smiled.
Girl erupted in screams "I'm Prince Koji. It's nice to finally meet you all." His voice sounded regal like his fathers, but still it sounded almost melodic. I rolled my eyes, I can't believe that this so called tradition is real.
Why in earth can we not know the Princes's stupid ass name until his 19 birthday?! It literally has no point once so ever, taking a look at my little sister I saw her eyes glued to the tv.
How can any one stand to watch this garbage? Can't they tell that the reporters are just as fake as their smiles? The only reason they're probably doing this is to be on camera.
I sighed as I put my head down, this was going to be a very long Long night.
