Watching the Prince clapping my grip on my sword tightened, how dare he walk in here care free. After what his Father said in the dinning room I'm wondering why he's even here.
"Your skills are quite impressive Lady Regina." I curtsied, "Thank you your majesty." My voice dripping with venom, bitting my lip I prayed harsh words of anger and sadness would not retreat from them. I had many things I wished to tell him, none kind.
"Please would you accompany me for a light walk?" My eyes shifted to Karen, with out missing a beat she nodded motioning for me to go. "Of course, I would never turn a invitation down from a prince." It's not I'm allowed.
If I did so most likely I would be kicked out or sent to jail, or who knows I could be killed. Holding out his arm it took every ounce of sanity not to grab it and throw him across the room.
Taking it I was lead out the room down the hall, looking around I wondered where he could possibly be taking me. As the rooms of the contestants flew by I became even more confused.
He couldn't be possibly taking me there, could he? Oh please tell me he's just taking me to the tea room for a light chat, but no such luck.
We finally arrived in front of a large door, the symbol of a crown lay on the front. Of course it would be his room, where else would this maniac take me?
Opening the door he gestured me to enter, carefully I made my way in. Scanning the room I looked for one a possible way out, two sketching things he liked, or the worst of all three weapons.
But surprisingly I found nothing, other then a single window with a rather large balcony. To the common eye his room was rather, well boring.
There was bookshelves lining the wall and a large desk in the corner completely covered in stacks of paper. Suddenly a sound caught my attention, turning around I found the Prince had closed the door.
Ready to fight I watched him walk over to his bed, patting the spot next to him my eyes narrowed. "I'm not going do anything, I promise. " he puts up his hands in defense.
Relaxing a bit I took the seat next to him, "If anything I would believe you of all people would jump me." He said as I scoffed at his statement. "Please, you are the crown prince you could literally murder me and get away with it."
He suddenly burst out laughing, "And here I thought that the women would be the scariest things to enter these walls, I guess you are just as scared as I am." Raising my eye brow I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
He was afraid that we the selected would hurt him? Well looking at some of the other girls I wouldn't doubt it, some of them would probably kill to be alone with him.
Well good thing they get to do that in the lovely first test we have in a couple days. "No I didn't bring you to my room to do anything your probably thinking of, I wanted to ask if you are ok?"
"What do you mean I'm fine." Rolling his eyes he waved his pointer finger in my face "Well a girl that was fine would at least have eaten at least something." Blinking I averted his gaze, well he wasn't wrong.
"I hit the mark didn't I?" I nodded slowly, "Well even if you didn't own up to it I knew you were lying." Smirking he looked quickly away. "How on earth are to able to do that?"
She shrugged grinning like a child, "Well did you know that when a persons lying their eyes turn a darker color?" My mouth fell open, is that even possible?
"Wait so that happens to everyone?" He nodded, "Even you and me?" Continuing to grin he nodded. "It's just something I picked up watching the royal guards integrate people." laughing I fell backwards onto his bed.
Maybe the prince isn't so bad after all, " Well if it makes you feel better I would be uneasy too if I heard the first test is in a couple days." I stand corrected, "Do you even knows what happens during the first test?"
He shook his head causing me to outward groan, "We the selected are order to kill each other in order to have a shot at grabbing both you and the crown." He started at me wide eyed.
"It would seem I don't know anything about these tests, please enlighten me."
