At the moment I can hear death knocking at my door, why you may ask? I have a feeling the reporter has a talking complex!
How long will this guy talk! He keeps going on and on about this and that, things that in the end didn't really matter. It feels like days since they first started. If he doesn't stop his yapping soon I will so help me jump through the screen and slap him!
"Wow isn't the prince so cute!" I looked over at Zara who was indeed gawking at the screen. "He would be even more pleasant if he would shut his mouth." I muttered retrieving a angry glare from my mother.
"So Koji do you know who the selected are?" He nodded "As a matter of fact I do, they have been chosen earlier today and will be shown now." I whipped my head to the screen, he can't be serious!
Pictures of girls flashed up of the screen I counted them. They were on 87 when the evil heiress picture came up. I don't believe it.... Elizabeth was chosen? Well I guess the new Queen is going to be as shallow as ever!
" And the last one is Regina Lester." My family awed at the screen as my picture came on with me standing and smiling. Wait those cloths. They were from today! When did they take this?
My eyes looked at the princes reaction, he leaned toward the screen a tad bit. "Regina congratulations!" My mother hugged me as I turned pale.
The rest of the room erupted in cheers, even Zara ran over to congratulate me, but I wasn't celebrating. How could I knowing the next time I come home I could be in a coffin!
Looking into my Father's eyes I could see the sadness and fear I also had. I couldn't believe I was selected out of everyone!
Bitting my lip I looked down as my shoes, blocking out everything else I sighed. Now matter what I did this was fate, and something I couldn't escape.
