YOUR POV
You arrived at the beach shortly, with Amanda, Lucas, and Chandler right behind you. You climbed out, grabbed bags and went down to look for a good place. You settled for an area close to the water, but far enough back so that the incoming tide wouldn't swamp your stuff. You put on sunscreen because you had been burned before and didn't want that to happen ever again. You see Chandler and Robert struggling with a volleyball net. You wandered over to help them, and with you helping, it only took a few minutes.
B: What about boys versus girls? It would be an easy even split.
R: Sounds good, first to ten?
Y: Sure. Whoever wins gets bragging rights and doesn't have to cook or wash dishes tonight?
C: High stakes. I like it.
You split up on either sides of the net and start to play. You did the setup so there was one person back and two people in the front. Rock, paper, scissors decided the boys would have the ball first. Robert served it over and Amanda bumped it up. Bindi set the ball high, and you went up to slam it over, but feinted and lightly tapped it over. The ball dropped in front of the net on the boys side and you got the point. The game went like this, back and forth, feinting and not, until it was 9-10. You needed two points to win and you were up to serve. You served it over, hitting it deep. Robert dove for it and got it somehow.
He probably has sand in his shorts now! Haha. Sucks to be him I guess.
Chandler sets it back, over the net. You bump it over, not wasting time with three hits. Lucas was suddenly there, hitting it back over. Amanda jumped up and blocked it, making it fall back down. It hits the sand. Making it 9-11. Making you guys win.
B: Eyyyy, that makes it a girls victory right?
C: Yeah, sadly. Alright, what do y'all want for dinner?
A: Something good.
L: How helpful.
A: I know.
Y: What about cinnamon rolls?
R: Cinnamon rolls? Anything else more complicated?
Y: Google it. They are simple.
C: Sure.
Y: They are!
R: Alright, I can Google it and get you your cinnamon rolls.
Y: Yay!
B: We are so healthy. Let's not tell mum this.
R: Of course not.
