WE were hidden behind a boulder.

Logan looked out to give me the clear signal but he returned saying they weren't leaving.

"Okay move aside." I said impatiently.

"What are you gonna do-"

I ignored him and shoved him into my position. I took out my smoke bomb and threw it as far as I could to the right of me. An ear piercing explosion followed by gunshots told me it was go time.

I leaped over the rock and as soon as I touched the border, I felt a burning sensation on my hand. I put the pain in the back of my head and caught as many particles of positive energy as possible in my jar. With ease and a little pain, I slid back behind the rock just before the guards returned to their position.

"How'd you do that?" Logan asked with astonishment.

"I prepared." I said. "Anyway let's get outta here we got places to be."

With that, we grabbed our bags and headed back the long trail to our home town. We made a stop at the casino to make a toss for our achievement, then we went to the mall just to pickpocket for the fun of it before actually going home.

I didn't bother saying "hi" or, "I'm back" to anyone, mainly because I knew they didn't give a shit. Instead, Logan and I went straight to my bedroom and started to plan out what we're gonna do when we get there.

"My dad always likes to check in like he cares about me, so I got someone to make a hideout for me. Tell this to anyone and I will kill you." I said.

Logan nodded and crossed his heart.

I put in the codes and the system did a retina scan of my eye. The clothes in my closet soon gave way to a passage way, filled with smoke to set the mood, and cover up what's inside just in case dad found out.

"Ladies first." Logan said, stepping back and moving his hand in the direction of the door.

"No duh bitch. I know this better than you." I said, walking in.

I heard an exasperated sigh before the door closed again.

"Welcome to Moon's Cove...the only place where I get to be me...alone." I said.

"Not bad Moony....not bad..." Logan said.

"Don't call me that."

We sat at a table where I set up my computer while Logan spread the items in the remaining spaces. I went to my closet and pulled my older sister, Blue Moon, out of it. Her blue eyes widened with fear but she couldn't say anything because of the tape I put on her mouth. I threw her onto the ground next to me and returned to my seat next to Logan.

"All we needa do is build the portal and we'll be Gucci." Logan stated.

"Harder than it sounds...metal has never been my strong suit ever since I found out my teacher was trying to hook up with me and seduce me. Horny ass bitch." I said.

"Leave that to me. I helped build the casino...a portal won't be that hard."

"If you say so Bob the Builder." I said, throwing my hands up.

I sat in one of my beanbag chairs and watched Logan do his thing, dreamily wondering how much fun it would be when I get my revenge. I could hardly wait.

--------------------------------------------

"Wakey wakey bitch..." Logan said, poking my face.

I opened my eyes slowly and the guy was all up in my face.

"Dude, move!" I said sleepily.

"Yeah but we have an issue." Logan said nervously.

I checked the time on my laptop...2 in the morning...nice.

"What did you fuck up this time?" I said, fixing my hair.

"Nothing big...I think..."

"Fucking tell me what it is." I was already losing my temper.

"So...uh...two things...firstly...I let Blue Moon escape."

My mouth opened so wide I swore my jaw would've stiffened.

"WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING?" I shouted.

"I'm sorry but she told me she was thirsty! Next thing I know I'm on the ground and the door had already opened and closed! I figured we coulda just gotten another demon instead..." Logan explained.

I felt my blood boiling. "It's not just the demon power. That whore is gonna snitch on us!"

"Oh..uh..that's not good..."

"YA THINK?"

Logan backed away in fear and that somehow caused me to look down at myself. I was returning to my spirit state. I took a deep breath and let the effects wear off.

"Just tell me the second thing...this couldn't get any worse..." I said, still breathing heavily.

"I kinda fucked up the portal...I looked it up and the only way we can open it is from a high wave of negative energy to overload the system." Logan explained.

Just as I thought nothing could get any worse, I heard loud crashes from downstairs.
