AS SOON as we got off the bus, we headed straight for the Highline Park, and sat on the grass behind a tree. We set up our stuff and I called James when we got settled.

"Where is she?" I asked, not even bothering to hide my excitement.

"She's attending King's Academy. Sounds prestigious, really isn't. Either way, it's not a boarding school and from where you are it'll take minimum 2 hours for you to get there and obviously 2 hours to get back home. Best way to get there and back safely is by car, and since you need a license for that, I'll pretend to be your dad. Say that Logan is your adopted brother or somethin'. We have a lot of work to make you both look more human though." James explained.

"Meet me at my place? 5 o'clock so we can talk in person?" I asked.

"Got you. And remember to look out for any angels who could be spying on you. They look like humans, but the best way to identify them is by a tattoo on their right shoulder. I'll send you a pic."

"Cool."

"Enjoy the rest of your day lovebirds."

He hung up right after I opened my mouth. He knew I was gonna say something to him right there and then. I didn't, I don't, and I never will like Logan.

"So what's the sitch?" Logan asked.

"Never..never say that again Logan..please.." I said, cringing so hard.

"Just tell me."

"Well, because of your carelessness we have to look out for angels. They all have tattoos on their right shoulder, and I'm assuming they'd be wearing arm-holed shirts so they can identify each other. That and we have a lot to do to look and act more human. We're going to King's Academy for my dumb sister." I reported.

"Ooooo, King's Academy..." he said in a fancy British accent.

"Not as prestigious as it sounds." I said, putting my laptop away. "So...why did you wanna come here..?" I asked, trying to change the subject.

Logan got up and stretched. "I just needed a free, open space, y'know? As, much as it's deserted on the streets of hell I always had a sense of claustrophobia there. Here, it's just different." he said, climbing the tree we were resting on.

"There isn't an issue with going out..I guess.." I said.

I absolutely hated to be outside. I hated to socialise, meet new people..anything of that sort. It just wasn't my thing. Maybe I was spoiled by being up in the hell kingdom for long periods of time but I just cannot with outside.

After 4 hours of experiencing the outside world, we picked up our things and headed to the train station, since I was actually feeling generous today.

I collapsed on my bed and looked up to the ceiling. It was 2 hours before James was supposed to arrive, and I was planning to sleep. I closed my eyes and dreamed of the fact that it was only a matter of time before I found my sister.
