After the twins' mother finished her tea. She spoke again after hours of silence.

"I'm Mrs. Williams. Just call me Jane. You might have already met them but these are my twins Bates and Cosmo Williams."

"But I want you to know something, David."

"You're not alone, My daughter.. She's in a better place now."

Boy looked up at her,

"Along with my husband. Cosmo and Bates' father." She went on,

"My father is dead too. Lawnmower accident." Boy said annoyed.

"Why don't you guys go play and get to know each other? And David you can stay here until you decide to leave." Jane said with a smile.

Bates mocked Jane and stomped up the wide stairs leading into the upstairs.

"Thank you, Mrs. Williams." Boy said. He quickly followed them upstairs and walked into their bedroom.

"Welcome to my bedroom, David!" Bates said with his strange grin.

"Our kingdom." Cosmo corrected.

"You ruin almost everything Cosmo, You know that right?" Bates said looking at Cosmo.

"Eh, You just can't share."

"That's why my room is here. And you are over there." Bates said, crossing his arms.

Boy stood in the doorway looking at Bates then back at Cosmo.

"David and Charlotte huh?" Borris said tugging on Boy's shirt.

Boy nodded and continued to stare at them.

"What's their names?" Borris asked.

"Bates and Cosmo." Boy said.

The twins turn to Boy in confusion.

"What," Bates said.

Boy soon realized he said their names and smiled awkwardly.

"Oh- I like your guy's rooms."

Cosmo smiled, while Bates grinned with pride.

"Well, I did try my hardest to make it look cool!" Bates said with his head held high.

"He's joking. He literally threw things around and said 'Good enough'. Mine was made with the deaths of my heart!" Cosmo said.

Boy stared at the two boys arguing over the room.

"David, Which room is the overall best," Bates asked.

Boy looked at the two rooms and sighed.

"I like both, Besides they look the same just, Ones nicer than the other." Boy said, rubbing his neck. Borris tiptoed into the room and was now making his way over to Bates' side of the room.

"Well, who has the nicer side of the room?" Cosmo said sitting up from his bed.

"You.." Boy pointed at Cosmo and looked over at Bate which was staring at Boy in a weird way. That explains the- 'Why did you do that?' Look.

"Oh, so you don't like my side of the room huh David?! Well, guess what.. David, You don't even have a room!" Bates said stomping over to Boy but then stopped to hear his mother's voice.

"That's enough Bates," Jane said as she was carrying a pillow and some folded blankets.

"Come with me David, Bates, Cosmo. Time for bed." Jane smiled at Boy as he stepped aside.

Bates whined and begged his mom to stay up but she resisted.

Jane led Boy into a guest bedroom and sat the pillow and blanket on the chair in the corner.

"I brought extras just in case." She said softly.

Boy opened his bag to reveal his plant. He examined its growth then turned the pot. It was chipped. He looked at the slightly chipped vase and thought nothing of it. He placed it on the desk that was next to a window.

"That's an interesting plant you have there David." She said walking over to look at it.

"How long have you had it?" Jane asked.

Boy looked at it.

"Long enough for my sister to have built a relationship with it." He said.

Jane smiled. She walked out of the room and came back with some clothes.

"Here, We can wash the clothes you are wearing and they will be good as new the next day." Boy smiled and reached for the clothes in her hands.

Jane smiled and patted Boy's head. Boy laughed and watched Jane walk out of the room. He was now alone.

"Funny how there is always somewhere to put you, Huh Borris?"

Boy said quietly to himself, Not expecting anyone to listen.

"They are different." Borris soon said. Boy turned around.

Borris was looking around the place.

"Why's the room pink?" Borris asked.

Boy looked around the room and remembered what Jane said. About her losing her daughter and her husband.

"This must have been the little girl's room."

Borris's shoulders dropped.

"You know those twins?"

"Cosmo and Bates?" Boy said, looking at Borris.

"They signify something.." Borris walked around the room trying to remember something.

"What is it?" Boy said, sitting on the bed.

"Ah!, Angel and Devil," Borris said turning around and looking at Boy with a grin.

"Angel and Devil? Please."

"That's it, Boy! That's your angel and Devil!"

Boy slipped the clothes on and stared at Borris's snow-white eyes.

"Is that so?"

"Ever notice that Cosmo is kind and Bates is strangely mad and rude?"

"I barely know them, Borris. I should and you should get more information about them before you jump to conclusions."

Borris shrugged and disappeared.

Boy stared at the butterfly on the wall.

"I wonder what your name is."

"I'm David."
