I woke up to my alarm ringing out loud. Today we would be leaving to the Grand Magic Games.. I packed my bags and headed to the station to see Team Natsu there, a few more people walked over after I joined the main group.
"You guys ready for this?" I asked them, they all looked at me with confident looks, except Wendy.
"Don't worry Wendy.. I've seen you over the past several months, you got this." I said to her.
"I see that you take everyone that's younger than you, and treat them like they're your little sibling. First Romeo, then Auska, and now Wendy." Gray said.
"There's gotta be someone for them to talk to, and who better than a big sister who you can look up to?" I asked. Makarov joined the group and we left to Crocus. The city was just as beautiful as it was the last time you had been there.
"Oh Crocus, how I've missed you.." I said looking up at the sky.
"You've been here?" Erza asked.
"Yeah, I've been here in jobs and also for the past Grand Magic Games. Even when we didn't participate I still came to watch." I responded. "I've contimplated getting a house out here since I love this city so much... But it's way to far away from the guild.."
We went to the hotel and dropped off our things, Erza called all of us over to say something. "You can go and explore, but be back by midnight!"
We all ran off. I went to my favorite cafe and got myself my favorite coffee and a bagel since I hadn't eaten yet today. I was wondering the streets when I saw some kind of publicity stunt. I walked over to check it out to see Natsu and Lucy. Natsu was trying to pick a fight with the people up on the stage. I looked over and saw it was Sting and Rogue. Rogue looked at me as if he was ashamed.
"Natsu! Stop it! It isn't worth it!" Lucy said trying to get him to leave.
Their little stunt ended soon after and Rogue walked up to me.
"Sorry you had to see that, it was just some stunt that Sting made me do with him to get some attention."
"I thought so.."
"So how was your train ride here?" He asked starting to walk with me.
"It was fine, I was filled with excitement the whole time." I said smiling at him. "I always love coming to the games, and I love the city, so this was perfect for me. Though I wish I could be here for longer." I said as we started walking into some stores.
"You really like the city?"
"Yeah, Crocus is just so beautiful.. If and when I retire, I'll get a town house out here, out of everywhere I've been, this is my favorite." I said as I looked through the bookshelves and found a cool book but I couldn't reach it. I saw Rogue reach up and grab it for me.
"Thanks." I said and we continued to shop and talk. He walked me back to the hotel at the end of the day, and I wished him good luck. I walked inside.
"You were only gone for 5 hours... How the hell did you get so much stuff?! It's only our first day here!?" Macao asked.
"Hey! Don't question my methods, we won't get much of any time to shop, so I wanted to get it all done as soon as possible." I responded. "Plus I didn't have a dress for the ball and I wanted to have a nice one!"
"Fine, whatever."
"Y/n, you don't have to do the challenge tonight, so you can hangout here at the hotel or go to the bar." Makarov said, I nodded back to him. I went up to my room and dropped all of my stuff before going straight to sleep.
