I left to the stadium for day 2, everyone was wondering why I even came back. I wasn't surprised though. As I had expected though, Rogue would look at me, and look away when I looked back over at him. The event started called Chariot. I cackled as there were many dragonslayers doing this one.
"I don't get it, can you explain something to me?!" Sting yelled to Natsu and Gajeel. "Why do you even bother entering the tournament? Seriously, I mean you're nothing like the Fairytail I knew growing up. You're obsessed with how tough you are and what the rest of the world thinks of you. What happened to the Fairytail of my childhood? What happened to the guild that did whatever the hell they wanted whenever they wanted. They never cared about what anybody else said about them."
I stared angrily down at Sting. That was still us.. It hadn't changed because they left.. We were still the same people as before.. I looked up to see Rogue staring back at me. He quickly looked away, but I could tell he knew what I was thinking..
"The reason we're here, is for our friends!" Natsu said shocking all of us.
You idiot... I swear..
"The ones who waited for us! For all the years we were gone! Who fought through all the pain and the heartache!" Natsu said, I could tell he meant that for me.
You did pay attention all those times... You do know... Don't you?
"They were humiliated, but even so they stayed strong! And they kept our guild together! We're doing it all for them! And we gonna make sure everyone knows! The Fairytail guild never gave up! Not for an instant! So there's no way I'm giving up now!"
Even though it was for all of us.. It had touched me so closely.. As if, my standing in the guild would never change, but instead shared...
It was sad we didn't get as many points, but it sure lifted my spirits. The matches started not long after and I awaited to hear who would be up first.
"Jura Neekis versus Y/n L/n!" Chapati announced.
"Natsu! Damnit! I'm going to kill you after this for making me cry!" I yelled out, I could hear a chuckle in the distance.
"Meet me at the food court after my match, I want to talk to you.." I told Rogue.
I took off my jacket and handed it to Bisca, I then jumped out of the guilds area and into the arena. I was met by a roaring crowd as they saw the tight top I was wearing and how my outfit accentuated my curves.
"Should we bet on this?" Jura asked.
"Sure but what?"
"If I win, you will have to do an interview with Rogue Cheney, and you must answer all questions honestly." He smirked. I looked up at Rogue, he seemed to be filled with fear from Jura's words. I looked back down at the ground.
"Stop worrying..." I told Rogue.
"Alright, but if I win then you will have to do an exclusive photoshoot from what Jason and I create." I smirked.
"Deal."
The battle begun and I summoned myself wings to make sure I didn't base myself in the ground. He tried to send rock at me but I easily dodged it.
"Celestial dragon! Lost within the stars!" I shouted and two portals appeared. It showed half of his body in one and half in the other. Stars were positioned around his neck keeping him from using his magic. I landed in the ground.
"Looks like I should start on my ideas, since you can't even use your magic now.." I smiled.
He stared shocked at me.
"I'll make this painless for you.. Celestial dragon! Sleeping nights sky!" I said, as he was unconscious. I dropped him out of the portals.
"Winner!!! Y/n L/n!!" Chapati yelled. "She is as smart and strong as she is beautiful!"
"Oh shucks Chapati, thank you for the compliment!" I smiled and blew a kiss at their booth. I left to the food court and saw Rogue waiting there for me.
"Are you okay? I hated seeing you cry.." Rogue asked, I nodded in response.
"What is this... I mean what are we? Is it true that there is no romance here?" I asked him.
"Well... It is I guess... Y/n, I feel so many complicated feelings about you to the point that when your name is mentioned I feel butterflies fill my stomach.."
"I know how you feel..."
"I just.. I know our images... I know how hard we've both worked for our positions.. I don't want to be without you.. But I also don't know how you feel..."
"Rogue... I.. I think I'm in love with you..." I said looking down. "You wanted to know how I feel.. that's it.."
His face reddened as he smiled. "I.. I think I love you too.."
"We can try to keep it low for a while.. But if it gets out, it gets out, and I'll still be just as proud.." I smiled
"Y/n... Will you be my girlfriend?" Rogue asked.
"Of course!" I smiled brightly looking up at him.
We both leaned in close, until we heard the announcer.
