I woke up to see it was VERY early. I fumbled downstairs and made myself some coffee. I grabbed my cup and walked out onto the balcony to see the sunrising slowly above the city's skyline. I stared out at the beautiful sight.
"Up early again?" Macao asked joining me out on the balcony.
"Yeah, couldn't sleep."
"Today's gonna be crazy... Did you hear what happened last night?" He asked looking at me.
"No, what happened?"
"Lucy was taken, so we're conjoining the teams to make one team. A team will be sent off to find Lucy too." He said staring back out the sun.
"I always seem to miss everything.." I leaned against the railing.
"I don't blame you, I don't even know if I'm still the master or not.." He sighed. "Makarov is back now, and he takes on the role of master... But he doesn't want the title..."
"I know it's gotta be hard on you.."
"It is.. But your old man can take it." He smiled goofily at me.
"Hey did you hear about Romeo's confession?"
"No, what confession?"
"He told Wendy he liked her and now I think their a couple? Maybe?"
"My little boy went to you and not me!" He yelled.
"Yup, guess he wanted the help of his big sis.. I mean he did come to me for advice on how to confess to a girl, and what they would like."
"I could've told him those things!"
"Oh really? What would you have said.
"I.. I would've told him to.."
"Exactly, I know what a woman likes." I laughed.
"So what'd he do?"
"He put flowers in her room, and it had a note telling her to go to the beach to meet her secret admirer. He waited there for her with one of the lillies in his hands and he told her."
"That's my little boy, smooth as ever."
"It was my plan!"
We laughed, even though we spat often, we both loved each other a lot. Macao had been there since the beginning. Right when I joined the guild, he was there and took me under his wing. He and Romeo meant everything to me, cause they were the only family I ever had. We always went on adventures together when I was still new to the guild. He taught me his magic and I got to help Romeo learn it when he was old enough.
"I know you're old enough to not be a little girl anymore... But you will always be my little girl.. The daughter that found her way to me. The girl that was so scared and helpless is still there... I know it.. But you're strong enough to handle that side of yourself."
"I swear your always to sappy with me!" We laughed.
We spent that morning together, just like when I first joined the guild.. It was nice to spend time with him. It had been a several months since we had spent time like we did.
If only we could stay right here... Forever...
