I woke up, my body shooting upwards along with my wake.
"Remember the past to get to your future.." a voice said.
"Y/n! I was so worried!" Rogue said hugging me.
"How long was I out for?" I asked.
"Three days." Macao said, walking in. "I haven't seen this guy leave you once, not to mention sleep.."
"Rogue.." I groaned.
"What? I couldn't miss you waking up.." He smiled at me.
"And now I have, so you can sleep." I said.
"What happened to you?" Macao asked.
"I.. I was sent back to re-live my memories.." I said rubbing my neck. "I forgot how shy I was.."
"Yep.. Shy and scared, that was my first impression of you."Macao said.
"Mine was scared but brave-hearted.." Rogue said.
"Really? How? I mean, I remember how we met.. And that doesn't really scream, brave-hearted." I said.
"I thought you were brave since you were willing to do it for your guild." Rogue said "Even though you were forced."
"I thought it was her just being stupid." Macao said.
"Yes, it wasn't that smart. I know it wasn't, but I wasn't willing to let everyone get hurt.. It didn't end out all that bad anyway." I said.
"So what was it that sent you over the edge during your fight with Sting?" Macao asked.
"Him being happy with his exceed... I never had one.. I never had a little companion to get me through everything." I said sadly.
"Not anymore." Rogue smiled.
I looked at him questioning him with my facial expression. In walked an exceed.
"This is Frosch, my exceed, but he loves everyone. So I bet he'll love you just as much." Rogue smiled.
Frosch climbed up onto the bed and snuggled against me.
"See, I told you." Rogue said.
I looked up to Rogue... In so little time.. He had brought so much good into my life. I leaned over and hugged him quickly, tears filling my eyes.
"Now, everyone is outside practicing their dancing for the ball tonight. Let's go practice with them." Rogue said helping me up and walking with me outside.
"Did I ever tell you I was taught how to ballroom when I was younger?" I asked, he stared back in awe.
We danced very well. Everyone around us stopped just to watch the two of us.
"I've never felt more like the bell of the ball." I said looking around.
"Woo! Go Y/n!" Everyone cheered.
We finished our dance and I leaned in and kissed him.
"God you're so amazing.." Rogue said.
