We got back to Earthland and I immediately was captured in a hug from Rogue.
"Where have you been!? I was so worried!" Rogue said to me.
"I'm sorry, I didn't think about how long I was gone." I hugged him back.
I looked over to see Natsu staring Rogue down.
"Y/n, you've got to stop fooling around with dragonslayer hearts.." Erza said.
"What's that supposed to mean!?" I yelled.
"After that scene with Natsu, and seeming to lead on all those people in the Grand Magic Games." She explained.
"What scene with Natsu?" Rogue asked concerned.
"Y/n tried to kill him and then Natsu said something and she fell down onto him crying. Not to mention the whole him saving her thing." Wendy said.
I looked to see that Natsu's blush was a deep red by now, and to my guess so was mine.
"Well it couldn't have meant anything, right?" Rogue asked me.
"No, it meant nothing." I said.
I saw Natsu walk away sadly after I said that. I felt sad about that... I still cared about him as a friend. The next day Bisca and Alzack asked Natsu to watch over Auska for the day.
"Hey why wouldn't you ask me?!" I yelled.
"You have to share your time with Auska with the others Y/n." Alzack said
"Fine." I said grumpily.
They left and Natsu and Auska played some games. I watched as Natsu lost. I cackled at his loss. Rogue came and sat next to me as I laughed at Natsu.
"Hey can you help me watch Auska? Lucy will be coming to." Natsu asked.
I looked to Rogue and he smiled.
"Sure thing!" I said happily. "As long as Rogue can come."
Natsu sadly nodded and we went as Auska ordered Natsu to do many things. We went to the park and even on a couple of jobs. We finally went to the pawn shop and got a snow globe that used to be Bisca and Alzack's. We walked outside and Auska continued to order Natsu around.
"Natsu, when are you going to kiss Lucy? Mommy and Daddy kiss Al the time." Auska said.
I laughed so hard at her words.
"Yeah when?" I asked.
"We're not your mom and dad kid!" Lucy yelled.
"Lucy!" I yelled at her.
"Give her a smooch Natsu!" Auska said.
I laughed as I watched the two get so close to kissing before Natsu kissed Happy.
"Well... If won't kiss Lucy, then kiss Y/n!" Auska said.
I stood in shock. I looked over to Rogue, he just smirked.
"Well, I mean this would test my theory.. Go for it." Rogue said.
I felt sweat pour down my face as Natsu walked closer to me with a blush across his face. He leaned in and kissed me. It took me back to our first kiss. He really hadn't changed... He probably hasn't kissed a girl since then. We both pulled away.
"Good, now I know you really don't love him that way, just friends." Rogue said.
Natsu stared sadly at me.
"Don't give me that look!" I yelled. "I love you, just not the way you do!"
I rushed away with Rogue. I stopped and sat by the water.
"What's wrong?" Rogue asked.
"I may not love him romantically, but he's been in my life for so long.. He's still very special to me, I love him like best friend.." I teared up.
Rogue sat beside me.
"I don't understand.. Why do you care so much about someone who hurt you so badly?" He asked.
"Because no matter what, he's always trying to make it better." I said looking up to the sky.
Rogue left, he seemed upset.. Like he wasn't telling me something..
