A Helpless Princess's Knight (Rogue x Reader)

All chaos broke loose, dragons were flying everywhere and Future Rogue was running all around the place. I was working on trying to take down a dragon and protect Rogue since he was still badly injured, but they wouldn't attack me for some reason.

"Even if you beat us today, this won't be the last time you see us, Y/n L/n.." the dragon said.

"I'm not going down easy buddy!" I yelled attacking him.

I looked over to see Gray being shot in the head by some kind of beam. I teared up at the sight. I continued to throw punches at the dragon.

"I won't be hurting you, I'm under strict orders not to." He said enduring it.

"Since when did dragons listen to humans!?"I yelled.

He seemed to suddenly stop and walk away as a different dragon landed with Future Rogue standing on it's back. He took Rogue and I with him.

"What the hell are you doing?" I asked.

"I'm changing the future.. I'm coming back for you.." He looked back at me.

"What could've happened that would make you come back here for!"

"You." He said.

"What happened?"

"You're engagement... They tortured you and me.. Before they were able to kill me, you transported me through time with the last of your power. You didn't want us to be stuck like we were.. Everyone broke us down to have nothing... They took everything... They took Froshe.. Since they wouldn't let me have you, I'll have them."

"Damn my intuition!" I yelled.

"I came back for you.. Now that you're aware.."

"You need to go back."

"But I can't leave you."

"You won't be." I said pointing to Rogue. "You'll be with me every step of the way."

"Hey Shadow guy! You better unhand my friends before I kill you!" Natsu yelled.

"You..." Future Rogue growled at Natsu.

"Hey what's your problem?" Natsu said fighting him off.

"It's all your fault!" He yelled.

"Rogue stop!" I said trying to pull him back.

"Why would you protect him?!? After everything?!?" Rogue questioned.

I stared out at the situation, knowing exactly what happened.

"Finally.. You understand." Future Rogue said looking at me.

"What's happening here?" Natsu asked oblivious.

"You have to find the elements.. You have to unleash your power.." I looked down at Rogue, he was still passed out.

"Shit.."

Tears ran down my face, Future Rogue leaned in and kissed me.

"It's been to long since I've done that..."He smiled at me, I looked back to see Rogue watching as it had happened.

Rogue slowly got up and stood infront of me blocking me from himself.

"This ones mine.." He growled.

"Technically she still is yours."

Future Rogue said appearing behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist. Rogue continued to growl at Future Rogue as he got closer wrapping his arms around me from the front. I was blocked in-between the two Rogues. I blushed madly at the close proximity. Natsu pulled them apart and away from me.

"You!!!" Both Rogues said, punching Natsu.

Everything started to rush through my head.

My memories..

The past..

Everyone..

The secrets..

The lessons..

The places..

The people..

The smells..

All of it flooded my mind. It was hard to pick out each thing by itself.

"It's happening, it's exactly what she wanted.." Future Rogue said.

"Who's she? What does she want?" Natsu asked.

"Y/n.." Future Rogue said.

Everything around me seemed to have dissapeared. I was left in a bright white hallway. I looked up to see myself, there I stood in a formal dress.

"He was able to trigger it.." Other me said.

"What's happening?"

"I'm sending you on your journey.. You'll know all very soon.." Other me said.

"What the hell is happening!?"
