A Helpless Princess's Knight (Rogue x Reader)

No. 33

I had stayed in my apartment for several days now.. Rogue would stop by and stay the night to make sure I was doing ok..

"You should go to the guild today.." Rogue said.

"I can't.." I replied.

He left and before I knew it I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door to see Macao and Romeo.

"Hey kiddo.." he said.

My eyes watered and I hugged them.

"I know you had a reason.. Nobody seems to be listening to me though." Romeo said.

"There is a reason.."

"What is it?" Macao asked.

"Mavis ordered me to.. The day I went  Mavis immediately ordered me to leave.. She told me to tell everyone that they had died, but they would be back in seven years." I explained.

"You have to tell everyone that!" Romeo said.

They continued to try and get me to go to the guild. I got ready and went with them. We entered the guild and everyone stared at me.

"Y/n has something to tell you all." Macao said.

"I know that what I did seemed wrong..." I was cut off.

"It is wrong!" Jet yelled.

"Mavis told me that I had to leave them that day, I was going to save them but I knew I needed to listen to her..." I said. "I know Mavis is never wrong!"

Mavis floated above us all. Everyone looked to her for guidance. She simply nodded in agreement. They all have me a big hug. I looked off to the side to see Natsu. Our hug ended and Natsu walked up to me.

"I'm sorry... For everything.." He said looking to the ground.

"I know that you did it in spite of your jealousy.. I've seen how you look at Rogue and me.." I said. "Just know, that you have two girls that have been chasing after you. I know you love them, and they love you, so don't waste your love on me."

He nodded and we hugged.

It had been a couple of days since the whole insedent. Natsu and Lucy were just about to set out to thank all of the celestial spirits.

"Hey wait up for me! I work the spirits too!" I said running after them.

Yukino and Lucy were getting pretty tired by now.

"Why don't you just let me summon the other spirits? It doesn't take as much out of me as it does you." I asked.

"No, let us handle it." Yukino said.

I sighed at their desicion. Before I knew it Aquarius was helping me make sure that they would be comfortable in their sleep. I looked over to see Aquarius petting Lucy's head.

"You love her like a daughter, admit it." I said leaning against the stone wall.

"I do, but she'll never know that." Aquarius smiled. "Treat that guy of yours well. He seems like a nice guy, and he seems to love you a lot."

"I will." I said.

Aquarius disappeared and I left back to my apartment. A few days had passed and I was feeling an odd feeling. I felt like I was bound to someone and just wanted to be free. I teleported to the celestial spirits and we thought up a plan to be free. Pisces and I were going to get the keys for the others to capture us. Pisces fought them while I stayed to the sidelines.

"Wait, why would Y/n be effected by this?" Lucy asked.

"Y/n is just as connected to the celestial world as the other spirits." Yukino said. "She is known as the dragon spirit in many ways."

"But what do you get out of all of this? You're a human already!" Lucy said.

"But with the help of the spirits, I can kill Natsu, then I'll finally be free." I said.

Natsu stared into my eyes, fear filling them.

"Don't worry, I'll let you live a while longer." I said.

Pisces got the keys and we got back to the other spirits.
