Kairi's pov. - time skip,, 3 months since Mattia went to the police.
I rubbed my tired eyes, stumbling through the apartment. A horrible pain in my head caused me to almost fall.
hangover.
Ale and I lived together completely, going to the other house was too risky. We had also started dating, which was good for the both of us.
"good morning kai. i left medicine in the kitchen, along with some food." Alejandro smiled at me when i came into the living room.
I smirked slightly and took the medicine. My head didn't pound as much after i sat down on the couch.
"so any news on Mattia's whereabouts?" I asked, eating the breakfast sandwich that was made for me.
He wrapped an arm around me, being cute as usual. "he works a up here in this area actually. At the coffee shop across from the library."
"perfect."
Mattia had practically been delusional this whole time. He kept working with the police, being unsuccessful in every way.
I had seen him in public a few times, just to scare him. Every time we crossed paths, he would get all sweaty and rush the opposite direction from me.
the fear i got from him excited me.
"we should go there today. i'm kinda in a coffee mood ale." I joked, finished the food.
Ale chuckled, "of course."
"i wanna take it to another step." I admitted, going into the shared room.
"how so?"
"razz him up like i did the first time. bring the gun." I laughed, changing into all black. "or should i say, guns."
I could hear ale laugh at me, but very obviously agree.
"besides, we haven't killed anyone lately. i'm feeling kinda bored." Ale stared, changing with me.
I smirked evilly, knowing he was correct. It got kinda boring when we didn't kill anyone.
We first started by 'hacking' the computer system, so the cameras would be cut. After that was complete, we had access to do whatever we wanted.
Mattia's pov.
My body has been filled with such an anxiety every time i think about kairi.
It's like, he likes to torture me this way. Except he doesn't do anything but show up at the same places at me.
But undeniably, i miss his sarcasm and his face.
I was currently working, in a better part of town and hoping Kairi wouldn't be in the area.
I needed time to heal myself because i had gained some pretty unhealthy coping skills.
,,long story short, i basically became my own mother. I was so invested in Kairi's life that i didn't even notice the things going on around me.
I pushed everyone away, and became very secluded when it came to others.
That's why i needed this job.
My shift had just started and there was only a few people here. A pair of young men walked in, both dressed in black. They held hands, and were awfully close to each other.
I looked closer only to see Kairi. which made me upset.
They came up to the counter, and Kairi smiled.
