kairi's pov.

"sorry lena. matti is mine." I said to her dead body, leaving it on the ground.

I walked back to the car, getting in the car and ushering Mattia to drive.

"who was that?" Mattia asked as he drove.

"nobody."

"c'mon kai i'm not dumb."

"lena." I rolled my eyes, and folded my arms.

His eyes widened and he stared at me.

"eyes on the road dipshit!" i yelled and he snapped his head back to the road.

"lena? i thought she was dead!" He exclaimed, gripping the wheel.

"what's the problem?"

"there is none." He mumbled, driving to disclosed location. Which confused me.

I decided to stay quiet, staring at the area we were now in. It was a park, with a fairly large pond, and a set of swings.

He drove, stopping close by the swings.

"why are we here? we have to go clean up the blood in alejandros apartment." I stayed, getting out of the car with him.

"i thought we should just chill for a minute." He shrugged and sat on the slightly rusted swing.

"if you're upset about lena i can leave."

"no! why do you always feel the need to leave in situations like this!" He shouted, beginning to swing.

"sometimes being alone helps." I sat on the swing next to him, kicking the floor.
He didn't say anything, except sigh loudly every few seconds.

"alright mattia i'm tired of hearing you sigh. now tell me what's up." I got off the swing and stood behind him as he stopped. I rubbed his shoulders, feeling him relax in my touch.

"i miss my mom." He admitted and i froze. "and i wish i could blame you for killing her. but you didn't even kill her."

"mattia, yes i did." i argued, then thought about it. I have no idea anymore. It seems likely, i've killed so many people that the likelihood is high.

"no. i did. i killed her." I heard soft sobs, and i walked in front of him. I placed my arms around his head, hugging him. "for the reason that you said."

I raised an eyebrow at him and held his chin as he slung his hands on my waist.

"i killed her because she was with another man; your father. and i easily blamed it on you because i knew you were that kinda person." he looked up with his eyelashes wet and his lips dry.

I didn't say anything, just letting the poor boy go through his emotions.

"i'm so so sorry kairi....i didn't mean to blame it on you."

I shushed him, and put his face in his chest. "it's okay mattia."

He sobbed, choking on air with soft mumbles. I rubbed his back, feeling somewhat uncomfortable.

i've rarely ever feel emotions.

He looked up. "i'm sorry."
