I packed an extra pair of clothes, a toothbrush, and a book into a backpack that Chiron gave me, and I was ready to go.
"Before you go, I was told to give this to you when you really needed it, so here. This sword is called Thýella." He said as he brought out a beautiful white sword.

"Stormbringer?" I asked as he nodded and tossed me the sword

"Stormbringer?" I asked as he nodded and tossed me the sword. I caught it before it exploded into cherry blossom petals. "What?" I asked as my wrist stung just to reveal a beautiful tattoo of an anchor with cherry blossoms.

"Swipe the wrist that hurt." He said as I did so, and the sword materialized in my hand again.
"Amazing," I said. "How do I make it explode?" I asked.
"Tap the gem near the hilt." He explained as I did so, and it exploded into the blossoms along with their sweet smell lingering in the air.
"It's made of Stygian diamond, more powerful than imperial gold and celestial bronze. You must be careful; this sword can kill humans." He warned as I nodded and thanked him before we walked out to meet up with Annabeth, Grover, and Percy.
"Remember to control your powers around them. Only tell one of them if you have to." He stopped us before we came into earshot of the others. I nodded. Just as he left, Luke came running over, and Annabeth blushed hard. I could tell that she was totally head over heels in love with him.
After he gave Grover the shoes and had a talk with Percy, they shook hands. Luke patted Grover on the head, gave a goodbye hug to Annabeth, who looked like she was about to pass out, and then kissed the top of my head. I turned as red as a tomato before he left, and Annabeth was glaring daggers at me.
"You look like you're about to pass out," Percy said through gritted teeth.
"I've just never been... uh, kissed before." I blushed darker.
"It was just on the top of your head. Didn't your parents ever do that to you?" Annabeth barked.
"Never. My parents weren't really the touchy-feely kind. I've never had a hug from them either." I shrugged.
"That's awful." Percy frowned.
"Is that what parents actually do?" I asked, honestly not knowing.
"Yeah... hey, you're our family now." Percy smiled as he wrapped an arm around me, and my stomach fluttered.
"Thank you." I smiled as we walked down the hill toward the white van.
