Andromeda
As soon as Percy and I walked into the throne room, my ratty clothes changed into this beautiful, one shoulder, white gown with gold accents around my just barely existing bust, and a slit that rises all the way up to my mid thigh. I had golden sandals adorning my feet that wrapped up just below my knee. My ears were pierced and had gold hoops resting in them, my makeup was done in soft neutral tones, my face free of acne and blemishes, and my nails were painted a light cream color. My hair was done up in a elegant bun with curls left down to frame my face, and a delicate golden leaf crown sat proudly atop my head.
"Oh! I told you she would look so pretty like that!" Aphrodite squealed as my face burned. "So beautiful!"
"Sir, if I may?" I stood up straighter looking Zeus right into his eyes as he nodded and I explained what happened, Percy adding somethings I forgot along the way. He sat the metal cylinder at Zeus' feet before coming back to my side.
I kinda zoned out before Zeus snapped me back to reality by dissapearing. So much for answers. I scoffed in my head.
"Would you mind giving us a moment?" Poseidon asked as I jumped.
"Oh, yeah, sorry... I'll be over here if you need me." I smiled at Percy, giving his shoulder a light squeeze before walking away just to squeal when Aphrodite appeared in front of me. Talk about embarrassing. My face burned as she talked about making my dress shorter... like mid thigh shorter.
"No, please. I'm good with this length, Thanks." I blushed as she fixed the neckline to make it drop lower on my chest exposing the very top of my under developed... bust.
"Can I have my other clothes back?" I asked.
"What? No! Those were far too dirty!" She gasped before snapping her fingers putting me in a dark blue tank top with a lacey cream colored one on top of that, short shorts, and some sandals on my feet. My hair fell from the bun in loose curls down to my hips, very light makeup, and my nails were still the same color."Thank you. Much better." I smiled softly before Percy came over. "You good?" I nudged him as Aphrodite's eyes grew wide and she grinned.
"Yeah... ready to get back?" He asked glancing at the love goddess.
"Yep. Let's go." I said as we turned and left.***
15 minutes later we were in a taxi heading over to his mum's house, and when we got there warmth filled my heart as his mother cried as she hugged her son.
"Percy! Oh, thank goodness! Oh, my baby." She cried as she pulled both of us into the house.
"Mom, this is Andromeda." Percy introduced as his mom pulled me into a bone crushing hug. I stiffened.
"Oh, honey, I'm sorr-?" She pulled back before I pulled her back in and hugged her back.
"I just haven't had a hug from a mom in a long time." I smiled as she hugged me tighter.
"If you ever need a mom hug again, let me know." She pulled back slowly. "So it's your mom?" She asked as my head tilted to the side. "Your mom is a goddess?"
"Oh, no... my parents, uh... well, they died when I was younger." I chewed on my lip.
"No! Well, where are you staying? I'll adopt you." She pushed as I laughed.
"I would have to stay at camp-" I started.
"Nope. You're staying with us. No buts, ok?" She mom'ed me as I smiled brightly at her... that was until a man barged in with a cigar in his mouth. The sight if him made my skin crawl.
"Gabe?" I asked as his eyes shot up to meet me.
"You know him?" Percy asked as Gabe caught sight of the both of us.
"Gabe-." Sally started as he lifted his hand to silence her and she flinched. That made my blood boil.
"Get her out. Get him out." Gabe seethed as my face started to burn.
"I didn't do anything to you, you lousy son of a bi-!" I started as Sally placed her hand on my shoulder and I stopped.
"You were a spoiled little rich princess, and that's all you'll ever be." He barked at me. "5 minutes. Get your junk and never come back." He spit at Percy and my rage blew, my hair even started to spark, not that he could see, but still.
"Ann, he's not worth it." Percy said through clenched teeth as his mom pulled us into his bedroom.
"If he ever touches either of you, I will reduce him to atoms within a snap of my fingers." I bit my lips as Sally gave me a soft smile, calming me down a little. I could see that Percy wanted to talk to his mom alone. "Hey, I'll see you downstairs." I ruffled his hair before walking out, not without flicking Gabe's head, like I used to when my parents weren't looking, (Damn, even as a 3 year old, I still hated him.) before walking downstairs and sitting on the steps.
"Ready to get back to camp?" Percy asked as he held his hand out to me.
"Definitely."
