Mini crack chapter
Jack's POV
There's unescapable darkness Harkness that surrounds me.
Wait.
Am I dead?
Again? Seriously?
There was a gunshot...
Did Ianto shoot me? Why would he do-
Oh.
Did he shoot me so he could kill himself? Because I was stopping him from committing suicide, he kills me?
"Jack Harkness." A voice says the name I have been using for so long.
"First off, it's Captain Jack Harkness. Second, who the fuck are you?"
A pause.
Answer me bitch.
"It doesn't matter who I am. All that matters is Ianto's health. You can't die, which is rather lucky for Ianto. However, he doesn't know that. Ianto is going through the first phase of what the Sentifract inflicts. His emotions are doubled. Which includes his mourning of Lisa, hence what he is trying to do at this very moment. I want you to indirectly find a way to help the Sentifract cheer Ianto up. Make sure he doesn't notice. You seem to be one of the few things that have made him feel better before Lisa's death. And now that she is gone, you need to cheer her up. Your friends may not be much help as Ianto sees you in a different light from them. Get back to making him feel happy and Ianto may be saved from more pain."
Another pause.
"Oh, and, don't let Ianto's Sentifract get to the third stage. If it does get there, Ianto will have no chance of ever being the person he once was again."
Everything goes silent.

Can't my healing work just a bit faster so I can get back to Ianto? Because, really, besides the fact that he's going to know I just died, Ianto is the only thing that matters right now.
I gasp loudly as I pulled back into life. I ignore the pain and focusing on finding out where the hell Ianto is.
//Hello! Author here! Apologies for the super short chapter. Just a couple of things.
First: I will not say if that was a feminine voice, a masculine voice, or a neutral voice. You know, dramatic effect!
Second: if any of the characters seem... out of character, sorry.
Third: I hope you all are enjoying this. I know the storyline is straying slightly, I'm working on it while also trying to have the storyline intercept the canon storyline.
This chapter is just a short, teaser chapter for the next to come. Whether or not the voice Jack hears has a role later in the story is for you to find out.
