- 9 Trial -

Another year has passed, 

''Report to Ubuyashiki Mansion! Assemble all Pillars at ones.'' A distant crow announced, flying high above the forest trees, trying to assemble the Hashiras.   It continues to caw, flying further into the distances. 

''Looks like their having another meeting.'' Y/n sighed, looking at the bird as it slowly disappears.  Y/n was yet again, out on another mission. She tracked through the dangerous paths of a forest, resting from her recent encounter with a demon. Fortunately for her, that demon wasn't a hard one to deal with, making her mission end quicker than expected. 

''Caw! Y/n! Master wants you too! He wants you at the hashira meeting!'' A loud caw erupted beside your ear. ''Ahh! stop that!'' Y/n yelled at the crow.  ''Jeez, I didn't even catch what you said.'' she sighed, rubbing her ears. ''Sorry..'' the crow apologised.  ''Master wants you at the meeting.'' The crow repeated. ''Report there now!'' The crow ordered, taking off into the air.

''Master wants me at the Hashira's meeting?? I'm not a pillar though..'' The violet-eyed girl thought. Instantly, she sprinted her way back to the Ubyashiki Mansion, not intending to make anyone wait for her.

''Whoa Whoa, This got somewhat interesting.'' Sanemi snickered.

''Please don't Shinazugawa-sama. Let go of the box please.''  a Kakushi pleaded.

''So you're the idiotic member that brought the demon.'' The male continues, holding up a peculiar box. ''What the hell are you planning to do?''

''Kochou-sama, please forgive us.'' The two kakushi apologised, sensing the female's anger. 

''Please don't act on your own Shinazugawa-san,'' Shinobu stated in a monotone, glaring at the male.  Ignoring the female, Sanemi continues, '' What's a demon to you kiddo? You can fight with it to protect people as demon hunters?'' Slowly, Sanemi draws his blade, lifting the box by its strap.   

''You see, about that...'' The male draws his blade, positioning the tip at the box, ready to stab it. 

''Ahhhhhhh sorry, I'm late!'' A cry rang as a small figure dashed itself into the scene. All of the attention was now focused at the sudden disturbance, even Sanemi stopped in his actions. ''I'm...I'm sorry...I'm..late.'' Y/n panted between words, gasping for air. 

''Y/n? What are you doing here?'' Mitsuri was the first to address her. ''Oyakata-sama requested for my presence.'' the tired girl replied, wiping her sweat off her forehead.  ''Y/n...'' a silent thought rang through the silent boy's head. Happy to see her once again. 

With all the distraction, The boy with his hands tied behind his back sprinted towards the wind pillar. '' I WILL NEVER FORGIVE ANYBODY. PILLAR OR WHATEVER. WHO HURTS MY LITTLE SISTER!'' the boy warned as he headed for Sanemi. 

''Hahaha, that's so? Good for you.'' the wind pillar challenged, grinning. 

''Stop it? Oyakata-sama is arriving soon!'' Giyuu shouted from the other end. 

Ignoring the water pillar's warning, the boy jumped up and headbutted the wind pillar. Causing blood to spill from his nose. Everyone watched as the two collided, and fall.  

''pff.'' a small laugh emerged from between the love pillar's lips. The pillars near her turned to face her, including Y/n. '' I'm so sorry.'' the girl squeaked, covering her face with her hands in embarrassment. 

As Y/n looks away from the love pillar, she made eye contact with the mist pillar. A small smile emerged from her lips, greeting her friend. Before the boy could return the smile, one of Ubyashika's daughters stepped into sight and called, '' Oyakata-sama is visiting.''
