- 14 Pillar Training -

A special training session has begun. It was called ''Pillar Training''. Those who ranked lower than a Pillar, trained with them one by one. Usually, Pillars would only train their 'successors' and no one else. Pillars had many things to do, like protecting their assigned regions, gathering information on the demons and improving their own swordsmanship. 

But ever since Nezuko conquered the sun, the demons suddenly stopped appearing. It was like the 'calm before the storm', and because of that, Pillars only had to focus on night patrol and day training now. 

Everyone trained hard under the guidance of each Pillar. Everyone expects Y/n.

She was assigned a special mission before she could participate in the training sessions. With that, Y/n felt like she was lagging behind, thinking she wouldn't catch up.  The training sessions were not the only thing in her mind, not more than a few days ago, Muichirou kissed her. 

The feeling of his soft lips still lingers on her own, the memory was still fresh in her head, repeating itself over and over again. As she recalled, she and Muichirou didn't exchange a single word afterwards. She felt guilty for not saying anything to him after the kiss. Was he mad? Sad??

Y/n shook the thought off her mind, focusing the task at hand, which was to get home safely. It's been a week since Y/n was tasked with this assignment, so now she's headed for home. 

Tracking down the familiar path, Y/n soon reached the Ubuyashika estate. Immediately, she made a beeline to Oyakata-sama's room. Knocking onto the wooden door, she waited for a response.  ''Come in.'' a gentle voice sounded, allowing Y/n to enter. 

''Oyakata-sama, how are you feeling?'' the girl asked, closing the wooden door behind her. Before her, Oyakata-sama laid still, wrapped in bandages with his wife next to him.  '' *cough cough* Y/n...My dear...How was *cough* your mission...'' the man coughed. 

Y/n bowed to Amane-sama before taking a seat next to her husband. ''OyaKata-sama, I've finished the task you gave me. I'm...I'm sorry I wasn't able to be by your side and take care of you...' the girl said, sorrow in her tone. 

The man only smiled, '' *cough* Y/n *cough* you've already...done so much...for us... *cough*. I've only one more request *cough* from you...'' 

Y/n nodded, listening to what orders he wishes to give. ''Please *cough* protect my son *cough* and my two youngest * cough* something is about to happen... *cough* I'm afraid Muzan's going to show *cough* himself soon... If anything *cough* please protect them... '' the man requested, before coughing blood out of his mouth. 

Y/n immediately helps Amane to wipe the blood off the sheets as the Amane cleaned Oyakata-sama up.  ''What..what about you two? and you're two eldest?'' the violet-eyed girl questioned, unsure of the request he gave. ''We'll be fine Y/n,'' Amane assured, giving the younger girl a motherly smile.

After a day, Y/n finally joined the Pillar training session. She quickly advanced through the different sessions. To her surprise, she was actually able to keep up very quickly. ''Y/n-san! You're stamina's on point! I knew you were flamboyant!'' Uzui, the former sound pillar exclaimed.  ''Thanks, Uzui-san.'' The girl thanked, wiping off the sweat on her forehead. 

''I think you're ready for your next session with Mitsuri!'' The former Pillar exclaimed, flashing the girl an excited smile. ''Really??? I've only been here for a week, are you sure?'' The girl questioned. ''Of course!! You'll do amazing!'' The guy shouted, slapping the back of the girl's back.
