'Don't cry already. You're going to be fine.'' Muichirou whispered, trying to calm his friend down. ''I'm not crying.'' Y/n whined, watching as her friend bandaged her bleeding arm.  

''How stupid were you? What do you think the cat's going to do to you?'' Muichirou scolded, finishing up her bandage. ''Well, how am I supposed to know it was aggressive. Plus I could easily have bandaged my arm myself.'' Y/n continued, sniffing.  

The boy only shook his head, unimpressed by her words.

"Ah. That hurts!'' Muichirou complained, holding tightly at his leg. ''Well, it wouldn't hurt if you stay still.''  Y/n scolded, wrapping the boy's ankle up. 

''How could you have been so careless? What do you expect from training on those slippery rocks huh???'' Y/n nagged. Muichirou only scoffed and crossed his arm, leaning his body on a tree behind him.  ''I liked it when I was the one helping you...'' The boy mumbled, too soft for Y/n to hear.

A cold silent breeze blew against the single tree, ruffling its orange leaves. ''That cloud looks like a sheep.'' a soft thought flowed out of Y/n pink lips as she gazed into the sky. The boy nods in agreement, not removing his mint eyes from the sky. 

Muichirou watches as a fluffy cloud floated pass, changing in shape. ''...that one kind of looked like a heart...'' he thought. Driven by his thoughts, a small yet noticeable blush swept across his soft cheeks.  ''Tokito-san, that one looked like a bird.'' the girl beside him smiled, pointing at yet another cloud.  The boy only nodded. 

Even in such a time, even when it seems like he wouldn't ever get to see Y/n again, due to his duty as a Pillar, he's glad that once in a while, he gets to be by her side. 

While lost in his thought, he felt a soft weight on his shoulder. Curious, Muichirou turned his head to see a sleeping Y/n. A large blush emerged on his cheeks. After a few minutes, Muichirou started to relax, feeling sleepy as well. 

Softly, he leans his head onto the girl, drifting off to a soft slumber.

''I envy the normal folks.'' a soft thought slipped out from Y/n lips as she chewed on her onigiri.  ''What do you mean?'' Muichirou asked, curious at what his friend could possibly mean. ''I mean, I envy those who are living a normal life...' the girl answered.

''Sometimes, I imagine growing up normal, in a family, a mother and a father... I imagine growing up, finding the one I love, settling down with him and maybe start a family...'' the girl wished, unaware of the expression her friend was making. 

Her words made Muichirou feel a little uncomfortable, his face cringed up as he frowned. ''Be with me then. I'll marry you when we're older, start a family with me then' the boy silently pleaded. 

His small crush on Y/n had only developed more and more throughout the years they were together. He never thought of the feeling and would always push it away. But soon, he grew to realise what it meant. From then, he treasures the feelings he had for her. Her mentioning another guy only made his heart crumble. 

''Eh Tokito-san?'' Y/n asked, concerned by her friend's expression. 

Muichirou frowned. Grabbing the girl's arm, he faced her with a serious face. 

''One day, I'll make you mine.''

With that, he stood up and left, leaving the girl sitting there in shock, flustered at his words.

'' 'I'll make you mine' ?? what does he mean?''  the girl thought.

''Why did I say that?????'' Muichirou slapped his forehead as he walked into the distance.

Without a second to lose, Muichirou leaned in and captured Y/n lips in his.

The sweet and soft feeling returned as his lips laid peacefully on her. This time, she kissed back, yearning more of him. Their lips moved in sync with one another, a perfect fit. Both yearned for time to stop, for them to stay like this longer. Muichirou longs to hold her in his arms, to stay like this forever. However, in this world, not everyone could get what they want.

Muichirou slowly snaked his arm around the girl's waist, pulling her closer. His other hand placed gently behind her head, trying to deepen the kiss. Y/n's hands were placed softly on his shoulders, allowing him to hold her close.

''You're finally mine.'' a soft thought floated into Muichirou mind as he tasted her sweet lips. [their 14 and 15 so no tongue yet...]

Before the kiss could get more heated, Y/n pulled away. Their cheeks warm from their contact. Both their eyes priced into each other's, none of them had the strength to let go.

''Stay safe Y/n... '' Muichirou whispered. ''You too...'' Y/n whispered back, pulling away from the boy's grip. In a blink of an eye, the pair sprinted their way towards the Ubuyashika estate.

Together.
