Telling the family

Brantley's Pov

I'm finally home and it's Christmas Eve. We are in Alabama for the day spending time with Delanie's family and letting Scott and Summer visit there dad and do Christmas with him. Delanie is 10 weeks pregnant and is due July 10th we are announcing to her family that she is pregnant tonight. I'm so excited I'm going to be a daddy and can't wait to her first appointment which is on my birthday January 20th.

We are at her mom's and just got done eating. Her sister, brother-in-law, nanny, papa, grandmommy, step dad, grandma,aunt, uncle and cousins were there. I asked if she was ready and she smiled and said yes of course.

Me: Hello everyone we have a announcement to make

Ashley: We already know y'all are engaged. Mom called everyone the minute Delanie told her

Me: That's not yet

Mom: Have y'all picked a date?

Me: Yes but....

Delanie: I'm pregnant!!!

Mom: Are you serious?

Delanie: Yes

Ashley: How far along are you?

Delanie: 10 weeks

Brantley: We are getting married next month

Mom: Best Christmas present ever!!!

We all laughed

Delanie's Pov:

Everyone was so excited for us and we still have to tell my dad and his side of the family. We are telling Brantley's family tomorrow since that's when they do there stuff.

We loaded up our gifts and left to head to get the kids. I have s tradition I do every year and I'm not going to break it now. We go to my dads and eat, watch Santa come around on the fire truck, open presents and then go to fantasy land to see the Christmas lights. We made it to dad's and ate, made our announcement and watched Santa then opened presents. We left and went to see the Christmas lights.

We made it to Georgia about 9:30pm and made Christmas cookies and watched Christmas movies and of course had some hot chocolate. After the movie the kids set Santa some milk and cookies out and went to bed. I went and got all the presents and started wrapping, Brantley put the bow and name on them and placed them under the tree. After 2 hours of wrapping I was finished so I took a quick shower while Brantley ate the cookies leaving a half eaten cookie and a half of glass of milk. While he took his shower I put his presents from me and the kids under the tree and crawled in bed.

Brantley's Pov:

I don't really like Christmas but my beautiful fiance and kids do. I enjoyed helping them decorate the tree, making cookies and watching Christmas movies with them. I helped Delanie with the gifts and even helped her shop but she told me I went over board and that I was going to spoil them.

I heard Delanie's soft snores so I climbed out of bed and went into the guest bedroom and got her presents from me and the kids and put them under the tree. I checked the kids before I went back to bed.

We were woken up the next morning by the kids jumping on the bed yelling Santa came get up let's open presents. We opened our presents the kids got me new hunting boots and clothes and Delanie got me a new rifle. The kids got her a new dress and hunting clothes and I got her a new pair of shoes, watch, cell phone case and a brass knuckle necklace with our names. I also had one last gift for all of us. I went to the basement and came back with a solid white pitt bull.

Delanie's Pov:

The kids loved all there gifts and Brantley surprised us with a puppy which the kids named "Olaf" from Frozen go figure. Brantley told the kids it was time to get ready to go to Grandma Beckys so they took off to get dressed. I wore my new dress with some boots and curled my hair plus wore a little makeup. We loaded up in the truck and headed to Mama Beckys.

Brantley opened my door for me and helped me out. I felt sick of course because of morning sickness so on top of that I was a little dizzy thank god Brantley was there or I would of fell.

Brantley: You alright darlin?

Me: Yeah just feeling alittle sick babe

Brantley: Alright darlin I will get the kids out and we can go in ok

Me: Okay babe

Brantley got the kids out and waited on me. We walked in and thank god everyone was in the kitchen because as soon as the smell of food hit me I ran to the bathroom. I felt someone hold my hair and I knew it was Brantley

Brantley: I'm sorry darlin

Me: Why?

Brantley: Because there is nothing I can do and I hate seeing you sick

Me: Just a part of being Brantley baby

Brantley: When does it go away?

Me: Between 14-16 weeks

Brantley: You need anything darlin?

Me: A rag please

Brantley: Here you go darlin

We went out and said hello to everyone. We ate and talked. We opened presents and made our announcement. Everyone was so excited and glad we are getting married sooner. We enjoyed our Christmas with our growing family.
