Life Changes

Not Use to this

I woke up to go to work. Brantley was still asleep next to me. I got my coffee started and went to wake Scott up for school. On my way back into the kitchen I noticed Jessica was late getting to the house. I walked in the kitchen and Kayla was sitting at the table talking to Brantley.

Morning babe, what are you doing up? I asked

I called and told Jessica not to come today that I would get Scott on the bus and watch Summer...he said

My mouth dropped when he said that. We just started dating and he doesn't mind watching my kids.

Umm thanks...I said

No problem darlin he says and gives me a kiss

Scott walks into the kitchen and Brantley has him a bowl of cereal fixed and told him he was putting him on the bus today which my son loved by the way lol.

I grab my cup of coffee and kiss Scott then Brantley and out the door we go. Kayla hopes in my Ford Raptor and we head to work.

Been at work for about 5 hours and my phone goes off so I check it and it's a text message from Brantley I open it and it's a picture of him and Summer snuggled up on the couch watching tv but she is asleep. I send a :) back and say it's cute. He then texts saying to hurry home he misses me. I send back that I miss him too and will be home soon.

Finally is 5 o'clock and we clock out to head home. Its been a long day and I still have to get home clean house, help Scott with homework, cook supper and give them and myself a bath. I'm tired but it has to be done.

We get home and walk into the house. It smells so good in here. Scott and Summer comes running up to me in there pj's and Scott says his homework is done. I look around and my house is spotless so I go to the laundry room and all the clothes are washed, dried,folded  and put away. I walk into the kitchen and there is Brantley at the stove cooking supper. I give him a kiss and tell him thank you. He says your welcome darlin and tells me to go to my bathroom.

I walk in my bathroom and my tub was full of hot water with candles around it. I enjoyed a nice and relaxing bath. Brantley came in to tell me supper was done. He held my towel up for me and wrapped his arms around me.

Thank you I say as I kiss him

Your welcome darlin he says as he kisses me back

I never had anyone do this for me so I'm not use to this I say

Well with me darlin you need to get use to it because I will help out as much as possible he says

I love you I say

He smiles and says I love you too darlin

I get dressed and go into the kitchen. The table is set and the food looks great. I asked what it was and he said it's chicken angel hair pasta which his mom taught him how to cook.

We ate supper and I done the dishes which Brantley argued with me until I told him he cooked so that means I clean. We sat in the living room and watched at movie with the kids. Both kids fell asleep on the couch so Brantley picked Scott up and I got Summer and we put them to bed.

We went to bed right after but not before I told my amazing boyfriend thank you again but this time in my way. After our body's came down off there high we snuggled up and kissed each other saying I love you and goodnight.
