Baby sitter

Jessica showed up right when we sit down to eat supper so she joined us. After supper we went to the living room to talk. She played with the kids and they really liked her. I told her what time I needed her there in the mornings and what time we would be home. I told her what time Scott's bus ran. The job would pay $200 a week which she loved. She even gave the kids a bath and put them to bed for me.

After Jessica left Kayla and Kolby went riding on the four wheelers. I walked out and sat on the porch with Brantley. He just smiled and looked at me.

What? I asked.

You know your beautiful right? He said.

I said thank you hun and smiled back. I told him he wasn't bad looking himself which made him laugh. Then he asked the question I was hoping he wouldn't ugh.

Brantley:Why did you and you ex get divorced?

Me:Well we fought all the time and never spent time together.

Brantley:I'm so sorry

Me:Don't be we get along a lot better since we are not together lol he is remarried and happy.

Brantley:Are you single?

Me:You tell me? I'm 24, divorced, with 2 kids

Brantley:So that's a no

Me:Yes I'm single

Brantley:Good to know...does that mean you will go to dinner with me Friday?

Me:Um no because I will have my kids

Brantley:They can come too

Me:Really???

Brantley:Yes and then we can rent some movies or something.

Me:Ok sounds great

We talked some more about stupid stuff and joking around. Then I looked at my cell phone seeing it was 11pm and I needed to go to bed which Brantley understood and gave me a hug saying goodnight.
