Life Changes

Family

Gage is one day old and doesn't cry much.Everyone has to beg Brantley for a chance to hold him because the longest he has went without holding him is about 20 minutes but that's because I have to feed him and believe me if he could feed him he would but I'm breast feeding and will start pumping this afternoon.

I was just getting finished feeding Gage when I heard a knock on the door. Brantley was coming out of the bathroom from taking a shower so he opened the door and got the biggest smile on his face. Next thing I hear is "Mommy" I smile when I hear my babies voices.

"Hey my loves" I say excited

"Hey mommy" they say at the same time

They spotted Gage in my arms and both started smiling.

"He looks like Daddy Brantley" Scott says and Brantley smiled.

"He is cute" Summer says

"Do you wanna hold him?" I ask

"I wanna hold" Summer says excited

Brantley makes her sit on the couch and places Gage in her arms and helps her old him. She just stares at him and smiles. I couldn't help but to take a picture. After she had her turn Scott sit down to hold him and while he was holding him he was telling Gage that he was taking him hunting, fishing, four wheeling and to play with Sylo.

"That's my boy" Brantley says smiling

I took a ton of pictures and we spent time together. About 5pm the kids left to go back to Alabama with there dad and we will go in a few days for Summer's birthday party.

I'm exhausted but I have to pump so I get that over with and eat supper. Brantley is watching tv and Gage is asleep.I'm so ready to get out of the hospital thank god we go home tomorrow.

Gage starts to wake up and I give Brantley the chance to feed him.

"Babe can you feed him while I take a shower please?" I ask

"Of course darlin" he answers

I get all the stuff I need to take a shower and head to the bathroom. When I'm done with my shower I come out in my pjs to find Gage has been fed, changed and asleep. I walk over to Brantley and sit on his lap.

"Thank you babe" I say kissing him

"Anytime baby" he says kissing me back

"Your such an amazing father" I tell him

"Thank you angel and your an amazing mother" he says making me cry.

"Thanks babe!!! I'm exhausted so I'm going to bed I love you Brantley" I say

"I love you too darlin" he says.
