June 16thBen's POV:
It was my 26th birthday and all I wanted was a break.I was a huge famous actor and not bad looking. I was playing the male lead in this new movie. But my co-star Erica Hale was the best part of my job. She was the most beautiful woman to ever exist. She had icy blue eyes and long, dark raven hair. She was 27 and I had starred in many movies with her. I met her at my first audition when I was 16 and she was 18. I instantly fell in love and wanted nothing more than to be with her. We became best friends over the years but I got stuck in the friend zone.
Unfortunately for me, she got a boyfriend. His name was Joshua Hallal. I knew he was unfaithful and knew it was only a matter of time before he hurt her. I tried to tell her but that just led to her ignoring me.
Pretty soon I learned to give up but no matter what, I still loved her.
Whenever we kissed in scenes I felt sparks. But based on her reactions, she didn't.
I was sitting in my room one day when she knocked on my door.
I opened it and saw her shaking and in tears.
"Can I come in?"
"Absolutely. Can I get you anything? Snack? Drink?"
She shook her head and walked in. I sat on the couch near her but with a little gap in between us.
"I'd ask if you're okay but I can tell you're not. What's wrong?"
"You were right. I walked in to his apartment and saw Joshua making out with Ashley Sparks." She sniffled and scooted closer. "I should have believed you. I'm sorry I didn't."
"Aw no. Don't be. I'm so sorry that happened." I scooted over so we were right next to each other and put my arms around her. She cried into my chest for a little before looking up at me.
"Can I- maybe stay with you? I don't have anywhere since I moved in with Joshua.
"Stay as long as you need."
She kissed me and she blushed a little. I blushed a lot.
"Don't get your hopes up Ben. It wasn't an 'I love you' kiss. Well it was but as a friend. And a thanks for being a great best friend."
"You sure it's just as a friend?" I asked with a smirk. Her face grew red.
"Uh... uh... um... yeah?"
I smiled. "Suuure."
One week later.
We were laying in my bed watching TV when she paused it and looked at me. "Truth or dare?" She asked.
"Dare."
"I dare you to take your shirt off for the rest of the game."
I shrugged and pulled it off. I caught her glance at my chest and smiled as she turned bright red.
"Truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"Do you like me as more than a friend?" I asked hopefully. She winced.
"... yes."
OHMYGODYESYESYESWOWOWOWOWYESSS!
"Truth or dare."
"Truth." I said confidently.
"Do you like me as more than a friend?" She asked.
"No."
"Oh. Okay."
"I don't like you."
"Yeah I got it, thanks."
"No. You didn't" I took a deep breath. I leaned forward and kissed her. It was way more passionate than the last. When we finally pulled away I spoke. "I don't like you."
"What? But-"
"Because I love you." I blurted. "I've loved you for years. Always have. Always will."
She smiled and kissed me again. She rolled on top of me and wrapped her arms around my neck. She rested her head on my shoulder before asking, "Can I sleep in here with you tonight? I'm scared of the dark and being alone. I didn't tell you before in case it'd be weird."
"Yeah, absolutely. We're just gonna sleep though right?"
"Ben!" She said playfully. "Yes we're just gonna be sleeping you weirdo."
"Now I have a question."
"Shoot."
"Will you... be my girlfriend?"
Well, I guess you just have to wait for me to publish it as a story to find out, though I made it pretty obvious so nvm then ig.
