Chapter VIII

Fortunately for us that morning, Chaeyoung and Mina's house were quiet that tells us that people were still asleep. This gives me tremendous relief because I couldn't imagine being caught by Chaeyoung again and this time seeing Sana. It's not that I want to hide what's going on between me and Sana, I just don't want them to know yet because even I am not sure what's going on between us.

Quickly getting out of the house, Sana ushered me into her car and driving off to my place. The car ride was silent but comfortable, the tension between us is still there but because of what happened to us last night, it doesn't bother me anymore. It was a short ride from Chaeyoung's to my house, Sana pulled the car over my driveway before looking at me with a smile on her face.

"I'll see you at work?" She grinned, making me smile at her.

"It's my day off today," The pout she gave me was adorable and I couldn't help but chuckle at her.

"Too bad," Sana mumbled and we stayed quiet once again, none of us making a move to step out of the car and I knew I should be before someone wakes up to see us.

"I should go," I told her.

Making a move to step outside but a hand on my arm stopped me from doing so. I looked back to see Sana staring at me in determination but with clear nervousness on her light eyes. Slowly, I leaned back to her and give her an expectant look as I waited for her to say something.

"After work," Sana softly murmured, "Can I take you out?"

My heart seemed to hammer its way out of my body when she said that. It was endearing to see her nervous when asking me out, away from her usual confidence when she's teasing me. Sana's gaze never left me as she waited for my answer and it's amusing to see her getting anxious every second.

"Yes," I answered and it was so worth it to see her bright smile. The sun is nothing compared to how bright Sana was as she smiled at me and it was making me feel warm and giddy.

"Great," Sana laughed, "I was getting a bit anxious there," This cute side of her is overwhelming and refreshing to see.

"I'll pick you up at six then, Dahyun," My smile went uncontrollable when I heard her say my name, the feeling was indescribable.

"Alright, see you then," I glanced at her and to my hand at the door handle.

Making up my mind, I quickly faced her, hands grabbing hold of her face before connecting our lips together. I can tell that she was caught off guard but it didn't last long as Sana kissed me back fully, her hands cupping my face to deepen our kiss as her tongue met mine. I was intending for a short peck but Sana once again trapped me into submission as she kissed me like a depraved woman.

We pulled away to catch our breaths, my eyes connected with light hazel ones. Sana was looking at me intensely that it reminded of the look she had last night, she may be charming, cheerful, and full of energy all the time but she also have this intensity in her that just took people's breaths away. Sana took my breath away.

"You should go," Sana breathed out as she nuzzle her nose on my cheek, "You're friends may wake up soon."

I nodded at her because I can't seem to find my voice whenever we're this close to each other. We managed to pull away and I was relieved to be able to breath again, I bit my bottom lip to try to have some control because the atmosphere between us is getting heated once again.

"Thanks for driving me home, Sana," I gave her a soft smile before stepping out of her car.

I walked towards my house and when I got the door opened, I turned around to wave her goodbye. The sound of her car driving out of the road was heard when I finally stepped inside my house. Leaning my back on the door, I let out a long sigh, now that I'm at the confines of my own house all the events that happen yesterday flashed on my mind. I slept with Sana twice, this says something about me right?
