SANA

I let out a sigh when I finished touring the group of tourists I was handling and taking them to the hotel at North Beach. It is just a normal day for me with my usual tours and duties around the island, but I heard some rumors that a new management is going to happen soon, Jihyo in particular is busier than ever, running around the island to make sure that everything is functioning perfectly. Some are nervous and hesitant about this upcoming new management but I surprisingly don't share the same sentiments, I'm good at my job so new or not, I think it'll be just the same for me.

I heard someone call my name and I turned to see Jihyo waving at me, I look around to make sure I'm done with my work before nearing my friend. Park Jihyo, she's my friend from college and currently the one who's running the island. Jihyo is that friend who helps you with anything and be there for you no matter what, she's the one who helped me finish my degree and the one who gave me this job. I owe her everything.

"Yo, sajangnim," I greeted her with a kiss on the cheek, "How may I help you?"

Jihyo rolled her eyes at my jest, "I'm actually here to offer you another job."

She gestured for us to walk on the beach and I followed, "I like the current one already," I told her as we enjoyed the afternoon light.

"I know," Jihyo grinned, "You can still work as a tour guide, all I want for you is to assist the new head."

"Assist?" I asked, "Why can't you do that yourself, Ji?"

"I would love to," Jihyo replied, "But I'll be too busy  managing the other departments too. What she needs is a personal assistant, someone who knows the island well and who knows a lot of people."

"A P.A huh?" I hummed as I think about it.

"Please, Sana," Jihyo pleaded as she gives me those irresistible puppy eyes of hers, "Do this for me? This job won't interfere with your current one, you'll only be with her if she need your help."

"What if she's demanding?" I asked, "I have a daughter that I'm taking care of."

Jihyo grinned confidently, "Ms. Kim is a good person, she's also younger than you and she's a good friend of mine so believe me if I tell you that she's not a difficult person."

"Miss Kim?" I voiced out, "Is she the Kim?"

Jihyo laughed, "She's the daughter of Mr. Kim and she'll be the future CEO of Kim Corporation."

"Oh wow," I muttered, quite amazed at the accomplishments of someone as young as her.

"Alright then," I slowly agreed but surprised when Jihyo squealed before engulfing me in a hug.

"Thank you!" She exclaimed.

"When is the new boss coming, by the way?" I asked so that I can start preparing my schedule.

"Today," Jihyo answered before glancing at her clock, "I think her flight just arrived and I should probably go now and meet her."

"Okay," I smiled at her, "Just text me all the details tonight," Jihyo nodded before she started to walk away.

Just then, an alarm on my phone came to life as it reminds me that school is ending any moment now and I quickly head back to the hotel's parking lot to get on my car. Driving to the islands local school is also a part of my routine, the road is already familiar and I smile as I watch children going home with their parents, the school is only a twenty minutes drive from the hotel and ten minutes away from my house.

I parked the car properly before stepping outside to wait for my precious daughter. Parents that I recognize smiled at me in polite greeting as they wait for their children too and after a little while we heard the bell go off and a swarm of children burst out the school doors. I grinned when I saw a familiar mop of dark hair and I squat down with open arms to wait for her, little arms wrapped around myself and I hugged her in return.
