The day was spent happily and full of laughter, this is the first time I've felt this free and happy ever since my mother left. Just watching the girls and Dana have fun, I'm filled with warmth and happiness for them, especially after Sana shared about Dana's late father, doubts and fears subconsciously left me when Sana revealed everything.
"Can we really leave her with them?" I asked Sana while my eyes trained on Dana who's enjoying being with Nayeon and the girls.
"Yes, don't worry," Sana smiled at me as hands held mine, "Nayeon told me we should both have fun for a while and they'll take care of Dana."
I grinned when I thought of something, "Should we try the Haunted house?"
I felt Sana stiffened ever so slightly but it didn't escape my notice and my grin widened, "I wanna try the Haunted house, you said we should have fun."
Sana gave me a forced smile, "I don't think a Haunted house would be fun."
"Are you kidding?" We both turned to see Jeongyeon and Tzuyu nearing us, it was the former who spoke, "The Haunted house is fun, Sana! We really should try it, Dahyun."
The wink Jeongyeon gave me is enough to confirm my suspicion about Sana's fear. Chaeyoung and Mina stopped near us, "I think we could do the Haunted house," Chaeyoung grinned.
Sana remained silent all the way to the Haunted house, my gaze focused on Jeongyeon and Tzuyu who's walking a little closer to each other than usual. I tilted my head a little as I started thinking, my sister met Jeongyeon on the first she arrived here in the island, the day where I led them to Jeongyeon's diner. They were later on seen spending some time on Chaeyoung and Mina's anniversary party, after that even with Momo manning our kitchen, Tzuyu would often ask to eat at Jeongyeon's diner and Jeongyeon is always happy to have us, even personally cooking our orders. I didn't think of it that much but now that I've closely seen the two interact, I think there is something my sister isn't telling me.
"They would be adorable," I turned to Sana to see her glancing at Jeongyeon and Tzuyu.
"You notice it too?" I asked.
Sana smiled, "Jeongyeon is dumber and louder than usual so yes, I noticed."
I laughed a little at that before glancing back at the oblivious two, "Well Tzuyu's more talkative."
Sana grabbed my hand before leaning down to kiss me on the cheek, "Let them be, they can figure things out."
I smiled at her and intertwined our fingers, "I didn't say anything," Sana just gave me a knowing smile.
"Alright, it's already obvious who we want to pair with," Chaeyoung told us when we're standing in front of the loud Haunted House, "We'll just decide who goes in first."
"We can go first-" I began to say when Sana pulled on my shirt, "What are you scared of?" I asked her gently.
"It's a haunted house," Sana replied, "Name one that is scarier than ghosts."
"High school," said Chaeyoung.
"Penguin extinction," Mina murmured softly.
"Women," Jeongyeon butted in.
Tzuyu and I laughed at the three and with Sana's defeated expression as she looked at her friends.
"Fine," Sana grumbled, her hand tightly holding mine, "I suppose we can go first, that way we can get this over quickly."
"Just hold on to me," I stepped closer to her side as I whispered to her.
"Oh, I'll do more than hold you when I get you on my bed," Sana whispered back and I'm suddenly attacked by how hot she looked by saying those words to me.
