I arrived at work happier than usual and I can't seem to wipe the stupid smile on my lips. I know why I'm like this and knowing didn't help me calm down, the memories of our date last night was like a battery that fully recharged me, Sana did that to me and I can't help the foolish giddiness that I feel when thinking that about her.
A knock on my door got attention, I told them to come in before focusing back on the budget plan for the annual festival of the island next week. A plate of chocolate cake was placed on my table and I looked up to see the woman who's been on my mind ever since I saw her. Sana stood in front of my desk, a smile directed at me as she gestured at the cake.
"Chocolate for you, Miss Kim," Sana talked as formally as she could but the smile on her face betrayed her.
"What's this for?" I chuckled at her.
Sana shrugged, "I saw it on the way here and I remembered you love chocolates," She was blushing by the end and I couldn't help but smile.
"What's that your holding behind you?" I asked when I noticed her trying hard to hide it on her back.
Sana's eyes widened, "Nothing important, I was just here to give you this slice and I should go," She frantically explained while I began to round my desk to get to her.
"I already had a glimpse of it, Sana," I told her, "Let me see or I'll force you."
Sana sighed and her cheeks turned in a deeper shade of red before slowly pulling it out behind her, "It's just a box of chocolates," She muttered while avoiding my eyes.
If it was possible for my smile to be bigger, I swear it is now as I stare at this adorable woman, "Who's this for, hm?" I teased.
"There's this beautiful woman who I took on a date yesterday," Sana grinned as she played with me, "I learned that she loves chocolates and here I am with a box of it, wanting to give it to her and probably hoping for some thank you kiss."
I bursted in laughter and so did she as I grabbed the box of chocolates from her, "All you're gonna get is a thank you," I told her.
"Damn," Sana pouted, "I was really hoping for it."
I shook my head at her, I grabbed her hand and pulled her to seat on the couch with me, "Eat with me?" I gestured at the box.
"How's work so far?" Sana asked as she grabbed one chocolate.
"The Neverland festival is coming," I told her and she nodded in understanding.
"It's my most favorite event of the year in this island," Sana grinned, "Four days of partying and the sun with beautiful music and beautiful people, I've always loved it."
"I remember," I smiled when I thought of the early times where Chaeyoung, Jihyo and I always enjoyed ourselves on the festival, "I have my work cut out for me if I wanted this year's festival to be great."
"You'll do great," Sana reassured as she handed me another treat, "Jihyo had been doing it for years and her experience will help you."
"Thank God for Jihyo, right?" I chuckled at her.
I froze when I turned to face her because Sana leaned in to me, a small chocolate ball on her lips before it connected with mine. She effortlessly pushed the chocolate on my mouth with her tongue before she kissed me properly making me forget everything else but the amazing feeling of her lips on mine. I felt the box of chocolate being pulled out of my hold as Sana slowly pushed me back to lean on the couch, my arms wrapping around her neck to push us closer and I moaned when Sana bit my bottom lip. The attraction pull between us was obvious, we wouldn't be doing any of this of we're not at least attracted to each other and I can't deny that I was definitely feeling the pull whenever Sana's around, the woman was too irresistible and I am not that strong enough to be able to resist her anymore either.
